Remarks

The college management is good and the infrastructure is okayish.

Entrance Preview

Because it gives a good placement in the IT sector. And college has a good brand value. It is one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Mumbai. It is really beneficially for the Sindhi crowd as it provides Sindhi quota. The Computer department, IT department and Chemical Department is the best here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is not up to mark but it is approving as our next batch have the more improvised curriculum which would really help them to build their industry skills. The course curriculum should be more familiar to the industry skills which would be greatly helpful in placements

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it also provides winter and summer internship programs. It is generally a course program and it has also a basic stipend which is given to students who performed well in the program gets an opportunity to work with the firm.

Placement Experience

4.5

It has really good placements many companies visit in TSEC. Being in 4th year I have experienced it that students will be definitely getting at least one offer by the end of 4th year. For placements, the first aptitude should be good then your profile.

College Events

4.5

The main event of college is TRIFLES which takes place in the month of March, where different artists come to perform in our college, it is a 3-4 days fest. TSEC HACKATHON takes place in the month of September, it is a 32 hours coding competition. There are others also like RUBIX, ELAN, OSCILLATION, TECHNEXT and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fee structure is feasible it is generally 1.5L approximately every year. The fee structure involves all the breakdowns which are necessary. There is a different fee structure for students like general, OBC, SC/ST, TFWS, etc. The fees can be paid either by demand draft or by net banking.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, a scholarship is offered on the marks which students get during the semester exams. Toppers are offered the scholarship.

Campus Life

3

It has a great campus life. Students Lounge(SL) is the best place where mostly all students spend their time in their breaks. It has many committees which lead to many extracurricular activities in the college, healthy competitions, sports, etc. There is CSI, IETE for technical events, TSEC STUDENTS' Council for Cultural events, TSEC CodeStorm for Hackathon and Industry experts Seminars, Sports for a marathon and other sports event, NSS for the social cause.

Hostel Facilities

4

It propers the reference to hostels it doesn't has its own hostel. It gives a list of many colleges which are in association with the HSNC board so in reference to that the hostel facilities are provided the mess food is okay and the Hostel are mostly not near to the college area.

Alumni/Alumna

The members of the E-CELL and Alumni Committee are in contact with the Alumni network. Yes, most probably Alumni network and senior students are really helpful.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is divided into 3 parts. 1st midterm tests - There are 2 midterm test which takes place and score is evaluated on the basis of taking the average of both the tests. 2nd Practical/Viva - It is the subject-specific viva or practical which takes place 10-20 days before the semester exams. 3rd Semester Exam - It is the final exam which is a written test which is of 80marks and 3hrs duration.

Admission

I got the admission through Sindhi Quota. A percentile gets formed after the JEE Mains marks and HSC Board percentage from you get the seat in the institute. Then a merit list is formed based on the Sindhi quota and evaluation is done and then a student opts for a particular branch if it clears the cutoff percentile then it gets the desired branch easily otherwise not.

Faculty

3.5

It has good faculty. The faculty completes the syllabus on the provided greatly and 2 midterm tests are also taken place. The faculty teaches on the presentation slides and explains the concepts and terms and solves the sums and give important each and every time while teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
