Narula Institute of Technology review

Overall college is good. And it totally depends on you. If u put the effort you will definitely get a job.

I want Electronic and communication engineering in Narula because I heard that it has very good faculties in ECE and there are lots of opportunities in ECE. So I had chosen it. And it's infrastructure also attacked me a lot. This college consists of autonomy structure under AICTE approved and Nacc approved and affiliated to WBUT (MAKUT) so I choose it. And one more thing that in the year 2016 I heard from one of my senior that placement is quite good as compared to other colleges.

The course structure is quite good. They will focus on all types of things including our personality development. In Narula, we get personality development and spoken English classes every semester. They also focus on current market situations so that they will try to introduce a lot of things in our curriculum such an lot, machine learning etc. In our college, students get their project and project guides from 1st year.

Yes, our college provides an internship. One of EIE students gets a chance to an internship at ISRO. Students also get an internship in many more renewed MNCs. But according to my knowledge students who get internship they don't get any stipend but learned a lot of things.

In ECE most of the students get placed. In our college students are placed in TCs, Capgemini, CTS etc. Students get training class for placement. Approx 60-70% students in each year of ECE and CSE will be placed. But there are few core company for Core branches.

In our college events are organized such as KRITANJ (tech fest), NAVODAYA(Cultural fest), NIT JEWELLERS( Prize distribution ceremonies for department toppers), Seminars etc. Kritaj is organizing in mid of February and NAVODAYA is organize in mid of March. There is also a mini-marathon for faculties and students also. Events like department quiz, poster making competition, drawing competition, a cricket match between alumni and current students, blood donation camp many more events are their organize in our college.

Fee structure is feasible. It charge as like other colleges. At the time of admission they charge approx 85k. Then each semester they charge 45k. For semester exams they charge 1200 for each semester exam. Their is a separate fee structure for tfw students they will charge 45k at the of admission and their samestar fee is approx 500 . They also have to pay 1200 for each semester exams.

Yes. There are lots of scholarship available for deserving students. Such as tfw scheme ,swami Vivekananda scholarship, merits cum mean scholarship, minority scholarship etc.

our college organize a lots of work shop. Labs are good all the equipment working properly and lab assistant are also helpful they will cleared ur paratical doubt. In our college there is a project lab where students can do their project work on their free time.

Although I studied from home I can rest assure you that Hostel is quite good. In each room, there are 4 students each having their own study table, locker, and a bed. Nothing can match with the home comfort and flooding but in comparison with other college hostel facilities, our college provides a decent living and flooding . for girls there's a separate hostel. For girls, our college will provide bus service. Because the hostel is out of the campus. Students get sufficient food.

Yes in this college seniors are helpful and cooperative. They are always ready to help their junior.

Exam structure consists of two part. One is internal, every semester we have to give two internal exams and a semester exam. In semester we have to write for 80 Marks. And rest 20 will be considered from our internal marks so we have to perform we in the semester as well as internal exam also because 20 Marks will be dependent on our internal exam. That is good for our continuous evaluation.

At first, I get ranked in WBJEE. Then I had gone for counselling of WBJEE. As I ranked 16k I get Narula in the first round but in the electrical department. I get ECE in the 2nd round then. I download my confirmation letter through WBJEE website after feeling the declaration of no update. Then immediately contact to college they had given me the list of documents and said me to brought a demand draft of 45k RS. As I get Narula in tfw so they charge me 45k but for the normal entire, they charge 85k. Including all charges.

Yes. Our department faculties are so much co-operative and helpful. They cleared our each and every doubt. In class and after class also. Even sometimes I miss classes due to some reason they get help from them. Our most of the faculties are gate qualified and have some patience.
