Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good as well. Curriculum is very up to date and includes everything that is needed for a good placements. Exam level is quite decent, they should rather make a proper schedule for exams. Unwanted non graded subjects should be removed from the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
If the student is skilled there are a lot of opportunities for internships for students of every branch with stipends. This year a student got internship in Nokia. You just have to maintain a good cgpa u can easily bag an internship.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year and placements from 4th year. Big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe,etc has visited. The placement is centralized with other vit branches. Highest packeage was 59lpa and avg was 9.23lpa. 90% students are placed. I will either do a Job or puruse higher education in foreign countries.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no reservations and the fees are based on category or can be said as merit system. for category one fees is quite decent and it is as much as a normal NIT/IIIT. Mess fees is a bit high but food is good. Internships are available but you should be skilled.
Campus Life
There are many clubs of almost all the fields, ex photography, dance, chess, coding,etc. Library is quite big and all the books are available. We have quite good resorces here. There is not too much of a sports thing here, should work on it. No good college life.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess is good hostel fees for 4 bedded room is 48k for 10 months and mess was around 78k. Veg, Non veg and special menu available, Food is great. there is option for ac and non ac rooms too, and lot of options accordung to affordability. The hostel is located in a remote area but few pgs are available, not recommended tho. and to many restrictions for hostellers especially girls.
Admission
Admission is based through its entrance exam VITEEE, Every thing related to it is mentioned in it brochure or on its website. There is no reservation and purely based on merit. Entrance exam level is decent its not too difficult. The admission process should be more transparent though.
Faculty
Though there is a dense crowd, here we have a lot of teachers, deans, proctors. Student to faculty ratio is okayish. Almost a the faculty have a doctorate degree, the faculty is top notch. Teachers and faculty are quite knowledgeable and helpful, and very approachable.
