- I don't like the location of the college it is 15 km away from city .

Course Curriculum Overview
First of all curriculam is average and needs to get updated . IKGPTU provides various courses but I choose BTECH (CSE) As it is the speciality of this college, in this course I was not sure that I could do it or not but teachers made me clear my doubts and gave me the reason to move forward. Teachers are good but there are some teachers who are doing PhD they have great knowledge but unable to teach or express .exams timings for me it is sometimes bad as I am a ncc cadet so I had my camps stuck between the exams due to which I have to leave .....
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there provided by our college , specially our alumni who are doing start ups are starting there journey from the college . NIT JALANDHAR in collaboration with our college is providing internship opportunities to our students like on drone ...
Placement Experience
It is average not good not so bad . Highest package in my college is 22 lpa in ECE and other also in ECE that is 18 lpa . But in my course avg is 4 lpa . The students are getting placements on campus are few but off campus numbers are good
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure for my course that is CSE is around 44700 per semester, and yes there are scholarships provided by govt that is sc/ st , and students who got above 90 in 12 gets this scholarship . The best thing my college did is that they started taking semester fees after one month of college and it reduces the burden of paying hostel , mess and academic fees .
Campus Life
Yes this is an interesting one my campus life is Awesome and still going on. with my friends I use to go on trips more oftenly and about clubs I have joined sports club and took part in other extracurricular activities also.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess facilities are good I know hostel and mess is little bit expensive but the overall experience is good . For hostels I hv to give 14700 per semester and for mess we hv to maintain 21000 .
Admission
Application is simple in my college . There are two ways one is direct in which on the bases of 12 marks you appeared in any stream and other is JEE mains .and application process is easy then taking hostels in my college.
Faculty
Teachers are really good and qualified , supportive in nature and helps the student to flourish in future . If any student gets any doubt regarding anything can contact teachers and they will surely answer your call and respond immediately.
