In Dr. BATU college, you can apply through JEE Mains or Maharashtra Enginnering CET. I got 111 marks out of 360 in JEE but for getting this college u need also good score in 12th board exam because they consider a composite of 12th board and JEE mains. The reason behind to choose this particular college is that it is a government college and now it is a central university of maharashtra.

Really speaking, at that time the course content is excellent. It covers each and every subjects in that field.for my field it is computer engineering.The course curriculum is well designed and includes all the updated industry needed things. On the other side the syllabus covers almost 90% of the GATE syllabus by the end of your 3rd year. So that students can start their GATE preparation as soon as they want to score big.

College dosen't provide any type internship to any student, its our own responsibility to search an Internship and apply it. but if you have good contact with teacher and you if ask him that if can you approach me for internship to one of his senior student or any known company. then it may be possible for you to get an internship from staff. But Now, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar technological university is connected with intershala so students of 2 Nd year and 3year can do the internships . Each department provides a training letter signed by the head of the department. Stipend depends on the type Internship taken by student.

Campus placement at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University are below average for most of the branches due to rural and non centralised location of the campus. Most of students from chemical engineering and petrochemical engineering get placed in chemical industries as they are mostly situated in nearby mahad and chipping area. The packages offered by these companies are almost similar to 2.50 LPA. Campus placement for IT sector related branches depends upon the industry conditions. 2 years ago around 40 students were placed in Cognizant India in campus. Even though in campus placement do not offer that good package many of my seniors are working in IT Industry with heavy packages and at respectable positions.

So many events celebrated in the college. NSS and NCC available in the college students can join them for social service and all . Blood donation can , cleanliness program ,are the social activity done by the NSS and NCC students . Abhiyanta vasnata is the college gathering festival, cynosure is the technical event held in the college , Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj jayanti, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti are the festival arranged by the students and celebrated in the university.

Fees structure is based on government of Maharashtra . The fees structure given on the Direct technical eduction board admission booklet . Fees are quite affordable . Fees varies for open and category students . For open category students last year fees is about 70K . For category students scholarship and other schemes are available in the college . For such issue students have to visite student section in the college they will help students .But in Short "Fees quite feasible".

For students of SC , ST , OBC and other having very good scholarship facility offer by the college . Rajashri shahu maharaj , primary teacher , adivasi Vikas vibhag , and many other scholarship are available . All scholarship which are helpful to students and provided by the government are available and provided to the students . Students have visit student section in the college for any kind of information. All kind of help provided by them.

Campus life I must say is very diverse and allow you to explore yourself. There is no specific gender ratio though. But As students from various regions come together to study under one roof, their bond becomes strong. Batu life has taught me how to survive and not to be homesick, How your friendship can make you a better person and how you can independently achieve your goals. Huge number of extracurricular activity conducted in BATU. Technical : Various Coding competitions, Paper presentations on research topics, Robot competitions. Cultural : Annual Gathering which include singing, dance competitions(solo/Group), Musical Skit(which throws a light on the current affairs), Debate Completions, All Sports matches like Volleyball, cricket, Running, Jumping, Table tennis, badminton,chess,carom and many more.

Those students who lived in cities and at good hostel for them hostel facilities are quite poor . Good Mess facility provided at every hostel . I suggest every student please stay at hostel in the first year . Hostel rooms and bathrooms are of poor quality . But good security and study atmosphere in the hostel.

Senior students are dry much helpful . At the time of admission help desk is available in the college . Senior students help students and their parents for admissions and other activities of the college . They involve the new students in their various activities. Alumni meet held by the department share their experiences with students and interact with all .

2 unit test and 1 semester exam are the main exams . And other lab exams are taken by respective lab faculties . 2 semester in a year . If everything done by a student on regular basis then this all becomes easier . All exam schedule given by the college at the start of the year so it becomes easier to plan for exams . Hall ticket is provided by the college on student personal login . Practical lab exams taken by faculty and viva later on .

I got admission in this college through JEE exams. But now you can apply through Maharashtra CET also. The admission procedure for college admission is very easy, you just need to fill the application form and pay the college fee online through college website portal and it quite easy. after paying and fees take the print out payment receipt and application form with require document as mention in application form and submit it to the college student section.

Almost all the teachers are post-graduation holder's in the respective subject they teach. Only few permanent faculty members are there as most of the teachers at the time are recruited on the temporary basis but the good thing is every department has well qualified and learned teachers. One thing for sure is that you will never need any kind of external tutions for any of your subjects if you attend the lectures and try to follow up with teachers.
