My college is one of the best Govt Engineering College in Kolkata

There is college management and they provide great support to us in any official work.

This college is a pure govt College and fees amount is very less. as I belong to the very poor family I opted it for admission. This college is in Kolkata New town area and I live at near Naihati railway station so I choose it as I can complete daily passenger to Aliah University. This area is in the main root of sector 5 it is easy to find buses.

The course curriculum is very good at our university. Since it is an autonomous University all the course syllabus and books are completely completed by our own professor. Our university provides very good facilities like library, common computer area game area. All books are also found in the library.

Our college provides an internship for 6 months in local industries and center like TCS. As per the course degree, they provide a stipend amount of 1200 only for total 6 months. They teach the actual working process in industries.

As our college is very new college the placement and job opportunities are not too much satisfactory but a company like TCS, cognizant, Philips, Amazon etc came and take the very good amount of students from each branch. In last year a total of 21 students got placement out of 45 students.

There is poor performance of such events or games like cricket football etc. University organizes a sports event between students of college but not very well. All the event like freshers, farewell party, teacher's day etc is held controlled and maintained by students mostly.

The basic fees structure is very low as it is controlled by the minority affairs ministry of West Bengal. We give semester fees of 6000 per annum for eight semesters. an admission fee of 6000 only for one time is required at time of admission in college. and internship fees of 5500 in extra is required.

There is no scholarship directly provided by the university to students.but scholarship like SVMCM, NSP etc are allowed for students. There is no loan facility provided by the university.

Our campus is very grateful and well-maintained. There is great infrastructure also. Here mostly students from Muslim community read but there is a great number of Hindu students also. There is a great number of girls also. All the labs of each department are available. There is an under construction swimming pool, gym and game lob. An annual event of engineering program also held.

There are great hostel facilities for boy and girls. There are two buildings of 20 and 25 floor separate for boys and girls. There are 24-hour water and electricity supply uninterrupted, good lift facilities and AC are available for extra cost. Mess food is of very cheap at 1200 per month for food and 300 per month for a hostel.

Senior students do not interact directly or mostly with us. They are not allowed to come directly to our classroom and they are helpful also.

Our exam structure is very good as I like. Our university does not have any internal test examination. They only take semester examination which is held in 6 months. In a year there is a 2-semester examination. They took first viva and oral examination is then written examination starts.

Firstly I had given an admission test held by the university itself so-called Aliah University admission test in the year 2017 then university showed a rank list within 2 months and my rank came 53 then a form for counseling filled and I got mechanical engineering as the degree course.

Our faculty is one of the great faculties. There are permanent staff, guest lecturers, and Ph.D. holders also. Some faculties came from IIT Kharagpur and some from NIT and they all teach us very well. Our Ph.D. holders teacher supports us very much to complete books.
