My course is Chemical Engineering, B.Tech. I had an interest in Chemistry while I was in 12th which made me decide this course. The course curriculum prepares you for real-world applications as they have different kinds of equipment needed for the experiments which makes us understand in a better way or practical way.

Internship offers usually starts from 6th semester and go on till 7th semester and Intern will be done as one is summer intern and the other is winter intern. Internships are for getting an experience in their course in a practical way and in an effective manner.

From 4th year i.e. 7th semester you can sit in campus placements which will be held offline and online. In Chemical Engineering, From 60 job offers 56 students got placed in campus placements with the highest package of 16.98 LPA and an average package of 9.72 LPA. The percentage of students placed is 67.47%. Companies visited are HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, ONGC, Tata Steels, ITC, etc.

Tuition fee remission is one of the big availability that can afford all the students according to their family income. Per sem, the Tuition fee is 62500, and other charges like sports fee, library fee, maintenance fee, etc. of total fee of 67725/-.

Campus life is an extraordinary one. Many fests, social aspects, and clubs will be held every year. For example, the Institute Gathering will be held in month of March every year and Aarohi will be conducted in the auditorium in October month every year. The infrastructure of classrooms, departments everything was exceptionally good. In the Library, almost every book will be present with limited additions. Sports activities and competitions will be held every year with different colleges across the nation.

Hostel maintenance was good with both double-seater and single-seater rooms. Mess food is Okay. The quality of the food is better. Hostel fees are an average of 35000 per semester along with mess food. I say it's affordable for anyone.

For admission to VNIT Nagpur, there is an entrance exam called as Joint Entrance Examination(JEE). After qualifying in JEE, you get a specific rank along with category rank (if availed), and observing the cut-offs for various courses in various colleges of previous years will get you into an NIT. JOSAA counselling will be held after the JEE exam where the students should register and pay fees.

Coming to faculty members and professors, were actually good ones as they teach in a way that each and every student understands and learns it. They make sure that they clarify the doubts asked by the students in an effective manner. But the thing I don't like is the faculty-to-student ratio is very low as it is difficult to manage the whole class. Faculty members have studied in various IITs and they have more than 10-15+ years of experience in teaching.
