Because I didn't get a better college and this one came with optimum fees and infrastructure and had good scopes of future placements. It was the one of the top college in Orissa and the dream project of chief minister of Orissa. It recently jumped into the list of colleges on the website of jee-main.

Initially the course curriculum used to follow the old pattern which was covered in Bput but now they have revised it with the updated course materials and even the reviewing scheme of college is in the sync with the top IITs and NITs. There marking pattern also resembles the latest standards.

Initially, there was no such program which offered an internship to the student from the college or outside for college. But now they have such schemes. Stipend 10k pm

The placement opportunities you ll find at IIIT is above average no doubt but not extraordinary. The team is not managed well. Though the companies visiting include some big names like DELL, HSBC and others. They have a proper campus process and selection criteria.

There are events like cultural fest technological fests open mic, debate competitions. Coding competitions and people participate in huge number. They make contribution to celebration and participation in good numbers. Advaita is the name of the annual fest which is organized by iiit-bh every year.

It used to be feasible but now it's expensive. It used to cost you a standard fee which was feasible by any student and also offer a lot of scholarship opportunities but now the fees have been hiked and it costs around 2lak a year for any student at college.

Yes a lot of good scholarship opportunities you get when you study at IIIT Bhubaneswar. Specially if you belong from Orissa you are entitled to get scholarships like medhbruti.

I would say, it couldn't be described in 250 characters. It's a life you ll always miss, want to be a part of once a life time. You learn a lot less from the subjects more from the life. You get to be on yourself no matter what. Gender ratio is pretty equal at IIIT.

The hostel facilities are good but the mess food is worst. You ll find better food outside the college you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby which come to your rescue when you needed good food. The hostel is good interns of good living and cleanliness.

Amazing alumni network. People are working in great companies like the big 4 There are opportunities these alumnus also offer in form of startup collaborations.

There are 4 exams in total a semester. Two are the objective online tests comprising less marks while the other two are mid sems and end sems which carry the maximum weight ages and also requires some minimum marks to be scores for any candidate to pass.

The admission process was very simple. Fill up the form on the website during the month of May after your scores of jee comes out and wait for the rounds to start. Order the selection of branches in such a way that you get the branch you wished by the end of the rounds. Once selected, you are good to go.

The faculties in the college lie in the mid range if the quality is concerned. Definitely there are some faculties who are top notch and can provide you with one of your best teaching experiences ever but again. That's luck. You don't get to choose who ll teach you, right.
