I took admission in gndec ludhiana by lateral entry in 2013.Leet 2013 is for diploma students who want to take admission in B.tech 2nd year .I secured overall 19th rank in punjab.mechanical branch is most famous branch of this college.I opted for this college because in punjab this is most reknowned college for mechanical in respect of labs teaching and placements.

Faculties are of good standard.They have good knowledge of their field.specially lab and workshop faculties ar of best qualty .They have wide knowldege about the course.Library is also so good considering quality material.Course syllabus is designed accordance with gate exam.Very relevant course material is in curriculum.

In my fourth year for mechanical there is six month or 1 semester internship for every students.Swaraj mazda is one of the companies that offer internship to students of our college.Average stipend offered is 4000 per month during six month internship.

Talking about placement opportunities that is most important consideration of every student while choosing any college.A large ymber of companies visit my college eg. tcs,accenture,infosys,sapient,elgi system,shapoorji palonji,thermax ,l & t construction,hero cycles etc.Also several joint campus placements on an average tcs,accenture,infosys,unisys are it companies that offer 3-4 lacs package. themax & sapient offer 4-5 lacs package and rest are also above 3 lacs.So overall nearly 70% student gets placed.Number off students selected in various companies till date are tcs 90,aceenture 192,infosys 94 etc.

In college the 2 national level techfest are celebrated .One in the evn semester known as genesis and other in even semester named as atharva. Also college hosts several atheletic events either at national or state.annual athlatic meet is also celebrated in month of march.

Fee structure is slightly expensive.for b.tech students it costs nearly 40000 rs per semester without hostel.It also varies semester by semester in even and odd semester it s different.

In college various sholarship schemes are running .Some of the shemes for sikh students,sc/st students and some for meritorious students.Mainly scholarship programs are for sikh students or resident of punjab.Loan can also be availed from various bans for study and punjab & sindh bank which is in college campus also gives loan facility.

Being situated at state highway surrouding is quite good.Also campus is small but all facilties are available including football ground,cricket ground,swimming pool,canteens,shops,stadium etc.talking about labs they are of best quality .Also mechanical workshop which is best in punjab is of good quality.No discrimination is seen there although being in punjab and reservation for state students.everyone gets equal opportunities.

There are four hostels two of them are old but two new hostels has been built recently they are good looking and for living.Every student dont get hostels.So in nearby areas there are cheap and best pg available.Also severl messes in nearby areas consider

Every year alumini meet is organized & student get chance to interact with them for suggestion and guidance which help them in future planning.Since colleges is established in 1956 so alumini network is quite wide.some of them are at higher rank in state,national and also stteled in foreign countries.they come and share their experience.

Exam schedule is planned considering student and faculty comfort.Not at hectic schedule but in proper manner.Three midsems out of which two are compulsory end semester exams are in month of december.Also saturday nad sundahy off so no question of hectic l
