Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the bechalores in commerce honours (b. Com hons) because the curriculum there was a vast syllabus and amazing curriculum to hand on experience. You will learn each and everything by doing this course. I think college should introduced some practical learning where students go through from daily life experience. Practical based learning. The frequency of the exams should twice in a year and timings of exams should 2hours and the difficulty level of the exams should be medium not more than that rather than focusing on students marks curriculum should focused on the day to day life experience. The real life experience where the students can apply thes studies and stuffs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was completed my graduation with 3000/- per year I think this fee structure will be okay for all types of the students background area. But nowadays there is a fee hikes which is not good. Most of the time bright students not be able to peruse the higher education because of the fee structure of colleges. I think there will be scholarships for the bright students from giving them free books and availability of the things. Tuition fee will be included in education but not the service fees. The campus should take a charge for giving employment to every students.
Campus Life
The campus life was good but in school of open learning Delhi University you will find less campus festivals and things here.. but yes there will be a interesting campus rallies and webinars etc where you can enjoy. The rang and accessibility of the books and journals are the available in the library you can easily take a books from the library and give it on the maturity date it makes the study easy. There will no sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus. I haven't joined any social groups and clubs during my college era.
Admission
No entrance exams for the admission in school of open learning but you should have a good percentage to take the admission in your favourite course. The eligibility of the course is to 12th passing out. You can easily find out the. Application forms , dates and fee structure on the official sol websites. There will be reservation for the female and SC studentsm the frequency of the exams are twice in a year and exams are for 3hours and difficult level of the exams were Moderate to high. There will no improvement required for the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration was 50:1 The size of the classroom were huge so it was a enough space of Students setting arrangments. It doesn't affect on the learning experience. The voice modulation of the teacher were fine and loud so it was easy to understand and the size of the board were also amazing. The teacher gave the full attention to the distracted students it's means that there was one to one attention. All small or major doubts was cleared by the professors and help students to understand the concept better. The faculty guides the students very well. But we can't approach to the teacher after the class so we had to wait until for the next class.
