Course Curriculum Overview
My curriculum is one of the best in the entire college and has the faculty with excellent teaching methods. Electronics in India is at a high rise. India is going to become a manufacturer in the future and for that good quality Electronics engineers are required.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester the campus placement procedure is initiated for every student and they will have to apply to the various companies that coming to the college based on their choice. If one doesn't wish to participate in the placement drive they can opt out of it too and can apply off-campus or go for higher studies which is also helped by the college's TnP Cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
Financial Assistance in my college is for the poor people and relief is granted. There is also a scholarship program for the minority students and students who cannot afford. I don't know about the employment opportunities inside the college that much but I heard a 2nd year student taking the role of lab assistant in one of the departments of the college.
Campus Life
There are two annual fest of the college. One is called BVEST, the technical fest and other is a cultural fest called XTasy. BVEST is usually in the winters and organises a nationwide Hackathon. XTasy is usually in the summers which have different events of dancing, singing etc. with stand-up comedy shows and a Band performance. There is also a sports festival RanBhoomi where different classes participate in 13 different sports. All the clubs/societies are student run with only the teacher getting involved in taking the permission of the organising of the event
Admission
You have to get a certain amount of rank in JEE mains for the admission in different departments for the normal rounds of counselling. You can check the details of it in the official university website regarding the fees, application form, and dates. The exams are conducted twice per semester where the mid sem would have only the first two units of a subject and the end sem would have all the 4 units.
Faculty
Most of the faculty has a doctorate in their respective fields and those who don't have are also very knowledgable in their subjects making them very helpful in terms of studies. The faculty also has very good connections outside and can help land good internships and projects.
