Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about my course which is Computer Science and Engineering (IoT and cybersecurity including blockchain technology) it is a very interesting and future proof course. The curriculum includes technologies like IoT sensors, blockchain technologies ,etc. However if the course had more practical on cybersecurity it would have been better.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are quite good as per the alumini students i have seen. Companies like Accenture, Tcs, and more such visit campus with packages varring from 4 to 8 lakhs per anum. However i have no idea about the companies providing more than 10 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college follows the fees structure as normal upto 1 lakh 30 thousand. This is covered under scholoraship and gets deducted as per the admission cast and category of the student. Like for OBC and Open category EWS students it is around 75 to 80 thousands. For SC/ST students it is as low as 15 to 20 thousand. But to avail this fees one has to fill scholarship form on MahaDbt government portal after 2 3 months of admission every year.
Campus Life
The college is a full package of overall events and fests. Zephyr the greatest event of our college takes place in between feb or march every year. The college have a dedicated almost like a whole top floor of one of two building to make a library, providing indore and outdoor sitting arrangement for student to read their books, and it is always filled with new and necessary set of subject of books each as per the dedicated branches of engineernig.
Admission
Being a dploma student taking lateral enrty in Direct second year i have different criteria for admission and cutoff. The eligibilt critera depends on the cutoff of that year. The admission forms wer on the cet portal specially designed for engineernig admissions. My college has Hindi minority reservation for HIndu students. Exams are taken under University of mumbai like two internal assesments 20 marks each and one 70 marks end sem exam every semester of six months.
Faculty
The faculty members qualifications varies as per the department. But i can tell from my department all the professors are highly knowledgeable and skilled professionals. Each having more than 10 to 15 years of experience in the field of teaching and some having also completed their Phd. Overall very friendly and disciplined teaching environment and helpful towards giving exposure to new technologies and topics.
