- The academic exposure of the college is good and since it is the only medical college of the district, a very huge patient load is present which gives a good clinical exposure for a medical student
- We have a wide campus with lot of cool hangout places and the college is situated side of national highway and it is easily accesible due to that
- Faculties are good, placements are easy if you studied here and infrsteucture of basic requirement is adequte
Dislikes
- The hospital is some what less in facilities as compared to the patient load
Course Curriculum Overview
The Mbbs is a vast topic, only the people with intrest in the curriculum can cope up with its hectic nature. The tecahing method should be made more digitlaised than the classic old boring lectures. The ascpect of helping people made me attracted to this course
Internships Opportunities
We have to do compulsory internship after 4 year of mbbs and college provide facilitues for that. You have to clear the MBBS first or if you are studied abroad you must clear FMGE exam to do internship at our college. Many internship oppurtnitis are available here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee is around Rs25000,and is for 5 years. And hostel rent 600 per year and mess fee around 3500-4000 monthly depending on the number of days. No regular fees hike is present. There are many central, state government scholarships available for students of different categories
Campus Life
We have annual intercollege sports fest named quadra. We have a large library with various books available mostly mesical releated. The college has adequate technical facilities needed. And we have extracurricular acticities including both arts and sports. And this college is known for its sporta history
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good with yearly 600 rs rent and 3500-4000 monthly mess fee. Hostel is very well affordable and have good facilities in comparison to the fee. Good food and healthy habits. The locality is Vandanam which is 10 km from Alappuzha town
Admission
Eligibility by qulifying NEET UG exam and applicationa is through online procedure by government. The cut off varies every year depending on the difficulty of exam. Reservation seats are available. In admission process should be made more faster
Faculty
The faculties are well qulified docters who has a very good experience. The avilable faculties are adequte for the students strength. They are best in teaching and are well versed with the subject.They are easily available and are interactive with students
