Best engineering college in bhubaneswar

Something is missing in our college that is good management because from my 1st year to my last year i saw that many teachers left the college due to there salary problems, some times students being harassed for their dues which is not good.

This college is based in bhubaneswar and affiliated to Biju pattnaik University of Technology which is a state government university. The college charge you less fees and provides you well education. This college is approved by AICTE new delhi and college also got NAAC.

I am pursuing civil engineering from KIST.As people knows it's very tough to get employment in india because of overpopulation and if you're illiterate then forget about getting a respectd position in any company. Engineering is a field where people learn about everything regarding their branch. If you're a civil engineer then you must have knowledge about construction, surveying, designing.

Yes, my college provide internship to those students who want internships. College provide 30 days internship program where some reputed companies came like Tech mahindra, L & T, Accenture and Tata. The experience was cool.

In our college there is a department called Training and placement.Fist they train students to how to face an interview,what should be your body language, what should be your dressing. And after that they invited several companies for the placement procedure. Previous year Tata, Accenture,L & T placed some of our seniors for the job with the package of 2.2 lakhs to 4.6 lakhs per annum.

College celebrate various type of events every year. For new students college organize freshers party where new students introduce themselves to all of their seniors and teachers. College also held wishkarma pooja every year on the name of god wishkarma where students enjoys alot. For final year students college organise annual function called UTOPIA every year where various type of event like painting, dancing, singing, quiz, bike riding taken place.

College runs by a charitable trust which give the scholarship to selected students but college help you to avail scholarship from government because every state government provide scholarships to those students who are studying in another state like in bihar our government provide scholarship to every backward students. If you want to take loan then there is a branch of Punjab national Bank in our college and they provide education loan to poor students.

Campus life are not so good for hostellr because of strict rules and regulations. If students want to go outside the campus then you must get signature from hostel superintendent. But the good thing is that there is a cafeteria and a juice corner in our college where you can buy anything.GGirl students are very less in our college and the ratio may be 5:2. And one big thing is that in campus student has no religion either they are hindus or muslims they live with peace.

In our college there is separate hostel for girls as well as boys. Girls hostel is 50 meters far from boys hostel.Only first year and second year students can live in hostel. There are 8 blocks in boys hostel. In each block therw are 32 rooms. In each room there are 3 students. There is a separate toilet and bathroom in every room. The canteen is situated around 100 m from boys hostel and canteen provides food according to menu which is prepared by students.The food quality is not soo good but it can be improved by forcefully. If you want nonveg then you have the choice. Around 200 people can eat at same time in canteen.

Whenever we came the college we didn't heard know that what is ragging. After 2 days seniors forced us to wish them they said us that we have to maintain full formal and many things but after few days we got that we are learning some good things that is "respect"

Exams procedures are very strict in our college. Our university is very conscious about the exams. Even they take exams in festivals.If we talk about the exam center then university provides home centers to us but college strictly follows the rules and regulations.

I have got admission in this college through a consultancy which is located in my state.I have appeared in JEE mains and got 36 marks which was not sufficient to get a government college so they motivated me to come in this college and when i came this college i met with S.W.O and he gave me the information about this college and finally i filled up the admission form got admission in this college through my JEE rank.

If we talk about the faculties in my college then i will say every branch has some specific faculties. In my branch total 7 faculties are there. They are well qualified.only head of department is phd holder. Some of them are pursuing there Master degree from same college. Every teacher has command on a specific subject and they teach us well but sometimes they ignored while we raise questions rapidly.
