Economics honours faculty lacks in delivery they just teach in bookish language which makes it very boring and not useful

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed more towards the educational side. It is useful for those who want to pursue higher education in economics. If anyone is planning to do it to get a job then I would suggest dont going to this college.

Class Size: 17Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is moderate. During the course, you can secure a scholarship of 10,000 INR per semester if you score a 10/10 CGPA. If we talk about placements, not a single company came to campus to hire in the economics domain.

Campus Life

Infrastructure, social aspects, club involvement etc everything is good. Books are easily accessible through the library. A lot of societies are there to participate in co-curricular activities. Only placements are not good.

Admission

There is no entrance for BA. You must be 12th qualified. You can get a concession on a fee if you secure 90% + marks in 12th. The admission process is very long, it took a whole week to complete my Admission.

Faculty

2.5

Economics faculty only has IIT BHU tags but they lack in delivery of knowledge. They dont make students relate it to reality due to which students dont rely on it and go for other jobs. Dit has good faculty for cse only.

Placement Experience:

Placement for some course like btech , bba etc placement are quietly good but for other it's not as some get and some doesn't for our course which I m pursuing there is no placements at all which is disappointed after completing during 3 yet student are eligible for the placement lowest package is 3.5Lpa to 7 lpa and highest in 15 lpa to 20 lpa just my plans after the degree is to get a job for my financial needs and for experience also and with that study for ma english .

this gives us the flexibility to choose minor subjects or electives outside our main department. this university uses a modern system where every subject has course outcomes. we take non credit courses in soft skills personality development and ethics. they don't affect our studies much but are very helpful.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are relly helping but, the course curriculum is really not up to the mark. Faculties are well versed in their subjects. You even have a educational trip to Mumbai, Pune or other cities in during 2nd year.

Remarks:

When It comes to talking about the entire college I would say that The language department is the most active here. Also Placement drives are only held in the department of languages and not in any other departments which is quite unfair according to me. Management here is good.

DIT UNIVERSITY - Fulfilling the dreams of thousands

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
