Disappinting experience at Maims

The course is not very relevant in todays world as it dont focuses on practical skills and knowledge.It is outdated and needs to be updated.I chose this course to learn about business management but it was like a school where we only study for passing exams whether we learn something or not.The teachers should change thier method of teaching and course should be more industry The exams are held in six semesters for 5 subjects each they are not so difficult to pass.Any average student can score good in it.

This college fees is 80,000 annually and total fees of the course was 2.5 lacs in which 10k for library ehich is refundable.There are some merit based scholarships like 30% off on tuition fees who score 80% or above.There are also entrance based scholarship like upto 1 lac for students scoring 75 percentile in cat,mat,cmat etc.Student can also pay thier fees im installments. On campus placement is not very good.Very few companies recruit from this college and only some top students get placement.Other are left on thier own to search for internships or job.So it not good if you want placement assistance

There was annual fest of genisis in college and a annual dance festival which is held in feb and march.The library has large variety of books but they are mostly old versions and pages are getting loose.They should provide some mordern books for every subject.The classrooms have a projector and A.c with speakers and a whiteboard which is good enough.The sports and extracurricular are not very much good and people mostly dont participate in it.There are many clubs and groups in college like literary society,marketing club, enterpreneur cell,cultiral club but they are less active and members dont participate much

We have to fill online form on Ip university site.Then we need to appear for entrance exam like cat,mat,cmat.If we meet the cutoff set by university then we take admission here which is under 5000 rank.Then there is a personal interview with the admission panel.After that they verify documents and academic records then gives admission.Reserved categories have less cutoff for admission.Some aspects can be improved regarding admission:- 1. transperancy-there should be more clarity about cut off scores and selection criteria 2.communication-they should communicate better regarding college schedule and requirements 3.support-they should show more support in addressing queries and admission requirement 4.less documentation-they should ask for less documents and streamline process for all courses

The faculty members of this college are very qualified,many are holding phd degrees.They are good in nature, approachable,able to clear our doubts.They give full lectures on the subject along with real life examples and group discussions
