Aman Singh's Review On Dyal Singh College - [DSC], New Delhi

I did'nt took any entrance exam for my admission we get admission in the college through the cut off released by delhi university on the basis of 12th class result i chose this college as it is one of the best in the south campus and has the the least fees.

Dyal Singh College, Delhi University, academically very strong witht the availability of good faculty members for all the different courses ranging from arts to commerce to science with the faculty being good and being facilitated by proper classrooms, labs and an auditorium, it is recommended for all it's courses teachers here do not focus on marks, but running after knowledge, and hence all the teachers are very much responsive even outside the class.

Right now I am not doing any internship or job but I can proudly say that the placment cell of dsc is doing really well for students

The college has an excellent placement cell which gets the students all over the college to get their job, and get interned major recruiters are EY, KPMG, Wipro, L&T, Icici Prudential, Genpact, TCS, Concentrix, Convergys, The Oberoi Group, etc the placement cell does not focus on one particular but on all the courses in bringing companies with a varied range of profiles for all the courses so that maximum participation can be recorded the average salary package is 2.1 lacs per annum.

The college hosts their own fest called 'Rajnigandha', which is rather peculiar because the college itself doesnt take part in it they do, however, take active part in the Delhi University festival.

Unlike other private institutes we have many PGs available off campuses with housing facility as well as good quality food and needs the fees is very affordable as you can do your graduation within 25000 rupees canteen in college is pretty good with ample seating capacity, it is the most noisy & fun place in the entire college one can have meals at any time that too at a very nominal price canteen has many variety of products like chowmein, pasta, dosa, chole bhature, patties, spring rolls, etc .

Several scholarships are provided for economically weaker students students with extra ordinary performancesin academics & extra-curricular activities are also financially supported besides all this, the college fees itself is very less as college is affiliated to centrally funded university as such, no education loan is provided but many consessions are given tu students who really need them .

There no gender discrimination everybody is treated equally and everyone respect othes religion. The Music Society, ZEST - The Dance Society, ASTITVA - The Dramatics Society, XPOSURE the film and phototgraphy society and the debating society have been working really well and have reached great heights by bagging home a lot many prizes for the college.The sports club is also in full swing up and running and has been performing really well whether it's the football team, the basketball team, or the cricket team.

The alumni network of the college is good and the faculty of the dyal singh college are frienfly in nature and very co-operative the senior student are also very helphul to the juniours and the freshers and ragging here also is strictly banned.
