It is the one of the oldest college in delhi.There are about sixty room in my college. There are also large halls in which our general classes are held. There are about 100 teachers in our college.I feel like i am studying in the heaven.
My college will be unforgettable for me. The infrastructure of my college is very well defined.here is not only study but many activities to do. I am very glad that i am studying in my college.

Dislikes

Nothing is here where we can say that i disliked this thing.
My college is fantastic but one thing which is not good that is the unhygienic nature of canteen of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The cirriculum is the same in all ignou colleges and i think it is good. The exam of the semester is bot quite hard, if students studying from the beginning then they will definitely gain good marks and exam will be conducted very smoothly

There are many interships that our college provide to the students.But frankly i have done nothing from the college so i have no idea about the experience of the intership from the college. Overall our college also provides the placement to the students.

There are very opportunities of scholarships in my college. these scholarships are encouraging the students to grow in their life. there are many types of scholarship for the students which helps to a student to grow in their life.

Campus Life

My overall experience is average in the college. Some things are very well managed like study, infrastructure, and faculty of the college. And something also bad just like our canteen of the college and online website of our college.

Admission

You can take the admission half yearly as per ignou colleges cycle. You can take admission through online platforms and also from cyber cafes if you are not able to do by yourself . The main drawback of college admission process that status of the admissions takes much more time.

Faculty

The Faculty of ignou is generally considered to be good.It is made up of some of the best scholars in india, and many of thr faculty members are also involved in the research.They are very friendly with the students and above they are hardworking . one can clear their doubts to anyone in faculty anytime. the faculty of the college is great as the teacher are wrll qualified and some have done phd.1

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More
