My Experience at SRMU

I chooses this course because My motive was to become a software engineer, which this course helps a lot. The other reason is few of these courses is suitable for middle class and also take less time than Btech. A few improvements it needs in the curriculum is like It need to expand industry collaboration and increase internship offers to provide real experience. Try to start teamwork to solve problems to raise chances. There is only one specialization in BCA which is (Data Science & AI) Due to only one specialization Students don't get proper choices. It follows a semester-wise exam, 2 Semesters per year. Exam schedules and timings are informed in advance and it is always held with some practical exams.

For the internship Many companies often visit. You can join unpaid internships easily but paid ones are required some skills. Companies will put you under experienced employees where you can train yourself and get useful skills.

Although I've not completed my graduation yet.But after interaction with seniors I found that there is a really good placement. But it also depends upon your skills and hard work. If you are capable you can get placement in last semester Companies like TCS, Tata, Wipro visit there always. And make large no. Of offerers. Highest package of there is (30 Lakh INR) and the Average package is about 2.5 Lakhs Approx 85% of students got placement. Although it can depend on their performance. I will try to take campus placement after completing my degree.

The fee is different for the course, For the BCA it is approx 80 ,000 per year and 2.6 Lakh whole Course. Often charges are included some Charges may be taken from time to time. But BCA with specialization (DS&AI) will charge 1 lakhs/year. In which Tution fee is approx 53,000 INR Caution fee- 5000 INR(Refundable) Registration fee-1000 INR Admission fee- 26100 + 1000(Registration) There is a special discount on Merrit of High secondary 10+2 and for lower castes too. My friend belongs to SC, He pays it approx 73000 INR / year. This is the real benifit. Students can avail of many types of scholarships based on the father's lower income and can take a personal exam of the University for scholarships. Based on Merrit there is a Scholarship option too.

My overall experience is approx average. Many fest held there time to time like Annual fest , Fairwell Fest, Sport fest and Distribution of degrees also the part of. The library is upper level arranged.It is very helpful to students. You don't need to buy personal books for your courses, Either you can easily study with a Library book which would be more beneficial. Many classes have a smart Board and few of them have not it depends upon their need. You will find maximum classes with Air conditions. The main thing is that you have to enroll any 2 sorts among 15 types of games including outdoor and indoor.

The Hostel Rooms are furnished with clean environment. It depends upon you choice and budget that you choose how many no. Of sharing. All rooms have proper working AC. Meal quality some time not healthy . But you can get tasty food. Hygiene can be an issue for few people. You can get registered in the hostel at time of admission or later with informing you Counsellor. Triple sharing is affordable with only 65k/ year. If you don't need a hostel you can take a rented room or P.G from some distance locality at Chinhat,Matiyari like etc. where approx rental price starts from 5000/ month and P.G. starts from 8000 INR.

The admission process is just very simple, You need to directly Visit to the University. You can find its location on their official website. Enter with the Main gate you will found right side an Admission cell office. You will inform your motive there and they provide you with a registration form, After filling you have to contact mentioned Counsellor, After Giving them a marksheet of 10,12 Adhaar photo copies you can enrol after paying the first instalment of 26100 INR. I dislike the Process of admission through Counselors. it takes a lot of time.

There is a lower faculty-to-student ratio approx (1:15) OR may be some times it Can (1:18) observed by me and also it is a better. Due to this reason It impact to Students to get chance on personalized attention. And More effective study too. Although this ratio May be different for other programs. Above mentioned is for BCA. Many faculty members have experienced and are qualified , which helps students a lot to understand things practically. They also observe student Outcomes time to time, This one is the best way. We can easily interact with teachers in University times. Also if anyone need further extra interaction they can directly visit to teachers for their issues.
