My College is affiliated to University of delhi. It takes admission on the basis of percentage scored in class 12 board examination. I scored 93.75% in class 12 board exams.. since Delhi university is known for its commerce studies, I chose bcom honors which is the most demanding course of the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I must say the course is rich and excellent. The university provides a full fledged course, making it letting students to learn every aspect about commerce. Each semester has a combination of certain subjects and at the end of the graduation a student becomes well equipped with the knowledge of commerce. The subjects are very similar to chartered accountancy curriculum and hence it helps those students who will opt CA as their career.
Internships Opportunities
Yes my College provides internship but frankly speaking I haven't done internship yet.
Placement Experience
The college is a pool of best placements. The best firms of the industry visits college every year, one of which is Ernst and Young.
College Events
There are lots of events celebrated in our college. Like Republic day, independence day, international yoga day, swatch Bharat abhiyan, farewell of freshers as well as graduating students. Our college celebrate college fests every year which is honored by film stars and celebrities...
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very much affordable I must say.. And probably the cheapest in India. All the DU colleges charge minimal fee and provides a greatly reputed degree like fee of bcom honours is only 10,000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships to the performers. The amount I know is rs. 200000.
Campus Life
I think DU is the only university in which female to male ratio is higher every college has its own cultural society there is no discrimination against any thing.
Hostel Facilities
My College doesn't have hostel facilities but there are huge number of PG's around the college, the charges of which are only 3000-4000. Some of the DU colleges have hostel facilities which are solely based on merit.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors provide help to their juniors they welcome the freshers in the traditional way of "Tilak" they are very friendly and cooperative
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted in semester mode that means in every six months.
Faculty
Yes, the faculty of all the DU colleges are outstanding.. They have vast knowledge about their subjects and also they are friendly to the students which makes an informal environment which is a must for learning. The faculty are highly qualified and they involve every students during the lecture.
