Likes
- Things that I liked about my college was the the panjab university campus is really beautiful .
- The stuc premises where food available is really good and fresh . One most important thing is that Pu takes on a lot of trips that too places
- There are competitions like debate or declamation speeches and there is an active participation from all the students like the teachers
Dislikes
- The classrooms they are not properly clean and sometimes the fans too are not working properly which kinda create a problem during summers.
- Outsiders involvement is a lot in panjab university which sometimes create a chaos resulting in ugly fights posing a threat and spoiling the environment for rest of the students . During the events those people too come who are not even students ther
- Each department does not have its own canteen / as in they are made canteens but are not opened and students do not have much time during lecture breaks that they can go to stuc . So a lot of applications need to be put then the actions are taken
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen commerce stream in my 11th so I'm graduation bcom seemed to be the best choice . Reason for choosing Pu was that I wanted to do that from a govt college lot from any private university Apart from that quiz can be taken in class to brush up on the facts
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees was paid once in the beginning that was around 15000 The examination fees was 5000 that was paid in two instalments . This was the fee structure for the general category For sc and ut children the fees was very less around 50 to 100 rupees
Campus Life
The festivals almost all the festivals were celebrated there like Lohri , holi , Baisakhi etc where all the students used to gather at Stuc and then there were various performances of singing dancing acting street shows and the most important event was the cultural fest where we did the folk dance performances of every state in India be it natti or bhangra or Rajasthani folk Sport events were also played inter as well as intra colleges
Admission
The eligibility of the course was according to the cut off list The list started off with 95 percent and the last cut off was 85 percent General category reserved seats are just 30 percent in main campus rest 70 percent are for ut and sc /st category The main at panjab university portal the form is filled where there is main campus and all affiliated colleges as per your preference
Faculty
The faculty there is well educated with proper degrees Almost all the professors have a phd degree They very well interact with students Each and every topic is explained properly and if any child has doubts they are welcome to ask the teachers again After completion of the entire syllabus teachers even take presentations from the students so that the syllabus is revised again and our internal assessment is based upon that The snap tests and the mid semester tests are taken from properly by the faculty We discuss all the important questions from exam perspective
