Course Curriculum Overview
The organization's approach to helping the students in relation to the current trends is very good. I could say the syllabus is up to date and is for real-world applications. Improvements they need to make is to understand how the corporate industry works. Exams are average. If we prepare well, it gets easy.
Placement Experience
There is campus placement Oppertunities in our college. The campus placement starts frm 6th sem onwards. Companies visited are more then 100 and the job offers are around 2000+. Name of some companies are Amazon, jp Morgan, congnicent, cape Gemini, TCS, Infosys, Google, IBM, Mercedes, Bosch etc. This years Highest package is 51 lakhs n average is 7 lakhs In our cse department the percentage of students getting placed is 85%
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees for Government seat is 1lakh per year and for management it is around 5 lakhs per year. If you want to join through comedk it is 2.5 lakshya per year. The tution fees actually reduce every year..but a very little. They take development fees of around 20k. The bad thing is colleges don't provide any scholarships. If you want you can apply for outside scholarships like the Jindal scholarship, for which you will get 24k per year. For the sc and st category, fees are around 20k for all.
Campus Life
Campus life is among the best in Bengaluru, u will have great infrastructure, places to hang around, and lots of fests in every semester. The main fest of our college is ferore which happens every year and technical fests will be happening often. We will have libraries but to take the book from the library you have to pay an extra 2k. Every classroom has a projector and all labs have Ethernet connectivity There are a lot of technical and cultural clubs.
Admission
To be eligible we should have scored at least 75% in your PUC. If you are a Karnataka student. You can write join through the kcet exam for the cutoff is around 5k for cse. Or else you can take the DSAT exam, which is conducted by the college itself. For an application form, feelings, and dates we can visit the Dayananada Sagar College website.
Faculty
In our department most of them are postgraduates. Some of them also have a doctorate. However, lots of assistant professors are pursuing post-graduation along with their jobs. Faculty students ratio is 1:18. Professors are very approachable to you. You can interact with them whenever you want.
