Course curriculum is decent and comprehensive , it provides you a broad way of thinking about real-world applications if you understand the courses available in this curriculum. Structure of the course is understandable and supportive if you can maintain the pace with the courses and teachings of the professors. Drawback of EEE is the courses are divided into sub-courses bacuse of this number of courses increased and there will be no time left for exploring new & innovative fields which might help in integrating the EEE with other field, in my POV this should change the college should merge the similar concept courses so the time will be available for the students to explore new fields. The frequency of exam in BTech (UG) is like first it will conduct some tests/quizs for TA (Teacher Assessment/Internals) Marks (20 Marks) + Mid-Sem examinaton (25-30 Marks) + End-Sem examinations (50-55 Marks), total 100Marks for each course. 170 credits required for Degree (BTech -UG).

There are many opportunities for internships in VNIT related core & non-core and for current internship phase companies came like Google,GSK,Bajaj auto,HILTI,DE Shaw,goldman sachs,ARISTO,UBS etc.. with around 50k-150k stipend monthly. Projects and outcomes for the internships are mandatory for clear understanding of the industrial level knowledge so it depends on your passion towrds your respective field/goals to get int your desired inetrnships.

Placements in VNIT Nagpur is decent and reasonable, for non-core around 9-11LPA avg package and for core it depends on the respective orgnization conducting placements it varies according to the department and company offering the placements every year. Recently in 2024 JUNE - 2025JUN placement & Internship phase many companies are coming like GSK,HILTI,D.E.Shaw,Google,Bajaj auto,UBS,Goldman Sachs,ARISTA and many more are coming in future, there are ample of opportunities to showcase your skills in industrial level through these internships. Around 70-80% of students are getting placed averagely and some may prefer higher studies rather than placements.

Year wise fees for BTech in VNIT Nagpur is around 1,30,000/-Rs for General / OBC-NCL Category Student with 10 Lakh or above annual income. For General / OBC-NCL Category Student whose income is between 1 lakh and 10 lakh the 2/3rd of the fee will be reimbursed to the student account. For SC/ST & PWD Category students there will be no tution fee except some Building and Other fee like around 5k-6k/-Rs. For Reimbursement of fee to the student bank accounts , VNIT Nagpur prefers SBI/Canara Bank accounts possibly. So before joining into VNIT Nagpur try to make any Bank account out of SBI/Canara. Hostel fees (includes Mess fees also) are same for every Student irrespective of category but it may varies a little bit depending upon which hostel you are getting like single seater / double seater / triple seater. Note:- If you are opting for the fee reimbursement of tution fee in the VNIT then you should make sure that you are not applying for any scholarship/ education scheme for tution fee.

There are many events that VNIT is providing like AXIS,IG,DG etc.. and students celebrate their cultural festivals altogether , range and accessibility of books in library is decent and the classrooms are well structured with basic comforts like fans and projectors, smart boards. and some classes AC also. VNIT supports the sports enthusiasts through many sports events like intra-NIT tournaments, DG etc. There are many clubs for social welfare ,technical, cultural, literature, creative , sports like PRAYAAS, IvLabs, SHELL,Mag.com, HALLA BHOL & many more.

Honestly, hostels in VNIT is very sophisticated and facilitated , these will fulfill your basic requirements and the complaints regarding the hostels will be solved as soon as possible by the hostel authorities. Meal quality is good and menu providing some good range of food items weekly. Registration process for hostel is simple and it is affordable also . There is also an option of rented room or PG near the VNIT campus with affordable prices so you can prefer that also.

Eligibility for the course is required rank to get into VNIT for particular course through JEE MAINS, you can apply for JEE MAINS through NTA portal , for applying you need to be in science stream (PCM/PCMB from any board in INDIA) in your 12th Class, there will be fee of 900/-Rs(Male) and 800/-Rs(Female) for one session of exam for General/OBC-NCL and for SC/ST students 500/-Rs application fee. There are ample sum of benefits in VNIT if you have a authentic reservation . Examination (JEE MAINS) is easy to moderate if you prepare well and sufficient unlike JEE ADVANCED it requires deep understanding of concepts in your 11th & 12th classes. In NIT+ system you need to give physical reporting I think for every family it is not possible financially so if it can provide some flexibility in time duration and verification process it will be helpful for some uneducated parents.

Faculty to student ration is around 20-22 and the professors are well qualified but you have to do your own self preparation for the exams otherwise merely depending on lectures and notes doesn't help much for good grades. Faculty credentials are legitimate and way of teaching is good but some professors are following old methods but in my opinion those methods are not compatible with current situations of BTech. VNIT Nagpur will provide you a Faculty Advisor for whole 4 year course, you can rely any academic or course registration issues with your FA (Faculty Advisor) , FA will keep record of academic progress and give you some advises for your improvement. VNIT providing a programme called SMP (Student Mentor Programme), in this 3rd year UG students will guide the incoming freshers regerding college dynamics and registration and everything that required for fresher to know, for this SMP there is officialy well defined selection process from every department in UG.
