Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a little outdated. But the IoT labs are very good here. They must add AI/Ml subjects and GenAI as the future is all about AI. Talking about exams difficulty level is moderate and you can't appear in an exam if your attendance is below 90%.
Placement Experience
The college says that it provides 90% placement but in reality, it's about 40%. The average package here in B.tech CSE is around 6 lpa. The highest package of one of the students is 42 lpa who got placed in ServiceNow and got placement off campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 156000 yearly which consists of 86250 as academic fees and 70000 for hostel and mess fees. I am availing the benefit of the Bihar student credit card scheme(BSCC) in which I am getting 100000 yearly as a loan which will be repaid when I will get a job and due to this scheme my fees are less than those other students who around 192000 yearly.
Campus Life
Due to attendance restrictions, there are only 4 clubs in this college. Those clubs are not even funded by the college. If a club holds an event every expense will be carried out by the club member. Registering a club in this college is really hard. The Labs and library are really good here. This college doesn't encourage sports and extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is good. Hostel rooms are very old. Wi-fi is hostel really helpful. A hostel mess is average. No hygiene is maintained. The rules and regulation in the hostels are good.
Admission
One must pass 12th with PCM with 60% marks to get this course. There was an online test to get the admission. It was very easy and anyone could pass it. The admission process is so easy that more than required students get admission to this college.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio in lectures is not that good sometimes it reaches 1:80. But in labs, it's good about 1:20. Professors here are really professional and punctual. The faculties here are well qualified.
