- Supportive Faculty is there with not only knowledge but also have helpful nature
- Peaceful environment in college is there so you can sit down and relax in garden
- Many events are happening now and then which are very interesting such as hackathons,dance and singing competitions
Dislikes
- 75% attendance is compulsory so you have to maintain it otherwise your parents might get call from college
- You have to pass in internal exams also, if not they will give you a lots of imposition to write.
- Curriculum is mostly based on theoretical concepts which is not required by industry
Course Curriculum Overview
Mainly there is focus on Core Subjects which are programming languages, Data Structures and Algorithm, Database Management System, Computer Networks, Operating System in IT. There is option of Honors/Minors in which you can elect one more subject to get Honor/Minor Degree which can be AIML, Cyber Security, IoT and Data Science. Mainly Curriculum is theory based so you need to work on your skill side by side to become industry ready mainly focus on developing good projects. There is Mid semester exams which are 20 marks and End semester exams of 80 marks. You can easily get good marks if you seriously study for 2 days.
Placement Experience
From 7th Semester, Students are eligible for campus placements. Companies which visited and also made offers to the students are Seclore, Neebal, Montran, KPMG, Fourth Signal, IDFC First Bank, BNP Paribas, Sportz Interactive, Zensoft, Voltas, Tata Steel, Siemens, Blue Star. Highest package was 10 LPA offered by IDFC First Bank and Average package is around 5 LPA. Around 80% of students are placed till july 2024. Plans after getting degree is to get a good job
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees I paid is around 1.3 lakhs for 4 years which makes total 5.2 lakhs for 4 years. Fees includes Tutitons fees around 1.2 lakhs, Development fees around 12k, Examination Fees around 2.2k and University fees around 654 rupees. Fees might have a slight change in year to year around 5k up and down.
Campus Life
Annual Cultural fest which is held in every January is called IRIS which is themed days like Checked Shirt Day, Superhero Day, Bollywood Day, Tradtional Day with dhol tasha and Final day with IRIS Day we have DJ night. Before IRIS we have our sport event which is IGNITRA which has a lot of varieties of sports. Registration fees is required which would be around 50 rupees or depends upon sports event
Admission
I took MHTCET entrance exam conducted every year which is 12th Science level exam so its easy. If you score above 90 percentile then you can get good branch. Through counselling you get college in first round or second round. Documentation requirements are more so you need to have proper documents with you
Faculty
There are around 5-6 faculty people for around 140 students for 5 different subjects means you have 1 or 2 faculty for same subject. Faculties are supportive and knowledgable but due to curriculum they can't teach to their best level. Mentors are there which asks you what have you done it in last year and suggest things which will make you industry ready. Teachers are very approachable and helpful
