Course Curriculum Overview

The state of the art laboratory and the excellent study environment made me choose the choose prioritisating firstly. The faculty here has been one of the strongest support for students. The detailed course structure semester wise lets us learn things in detail and well.

The university has on campus placements with numerous reputed conpanies coming on university ground for recruiting students. What I have heard of placements is quite excellent. I plan to work for a biotechnological lab after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

104000 First Year fee. 89000 Second year fee. 73000 Third Year Fee. No scholarships awarded yet. No financial aid is opted as of yet. The fees for everyone is quite the same. But there is external fees for language opted.

Campus Life

The campus is extremely diverse and well equiped. Be it sports or co-curriculars. The students have a strong and appreciable mindset. The clubs are excellent here. Providing with both knowledge and entertainment at once.

Admission

The eligibility criteria is 10+2. They organise personal interviews based on collective knowledge about the interested/applied course and select through a thorough interactive procedure. They have the best way of admitting the best students in.

Faculty

All the faculities on board are PHD scholars from different reputed institutions of the country. I have been frequently in contact with teachers regarding studies and doubts and they have been very helpful all times in the best way possible.

Interview Experience

I did not go through any Group Discussions or Written Test for admission. I was admitted through a thorough personal interview with both me and guardian by faculty members of respective courses. It was a question answer interview where I was asked about my pre-requisite knowledge of my desired course

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Do it for yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
