Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

There is a lot of tech which is making different software and so there is demand for software Engineers and CSE is a basic course for people who want to become a Software Engineer.I think College should change a syllabus little bit and try to teach student in more practical way.

Placement Experience

2.5

THe placements were not so good this year due to recession and company not coming to hire students in many of the Enginnering Colleges. THere are Companies which come this year which are Deloitte,Airtel which make offer around 7 LPA with 2 years Bond Percentage of student getting Placements were almost 30%. My plans after getting Degree are to Improve on my Skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fee I paid was 78000. Classmates with SC/ST backgrounds and no government jobs pay only 10 Rs for a year. You can get a scholarship from the National Scholarship Portal. There is also a merit fee given to students.

Campus Life

3

There are numerous annual festivals at the university. There are 2-3 days dedicated to sports events and another 2-3 days for various auditorium activities such as singing, different forms of dancing, and talks with notable guests. The university has different sports grounds for various sports and a large swimming pool.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 10 hostels where each can Accommodate almost 300 students. The cost for 1 year hostel fees is 15000 rupees which includes hostel Security and mess security which you can get after 1 year. The hostel is only given to students whose houses are 50km away from college and the hostel is given on the basis of marks in the previous semester and distance. Hostel Have lots of Safety and no one without official hostel card can not enter into Hostels. Boys and Girls Hostels are far from Each other.

Admission

The Admission is done Using JEE Mains Entrance Exam and the Approximate percentile for a general student to get A CSE Branch is maybe more than 85 percentile in JEE Mains. JEE Mains happens 2 times a year.

Faculty

3.5

There is always less than 1:70 ratio of faculty to students and in classes there cannot be more than 70 students at a time. The faculty are knowledgable about their respective subjects and talk to all students about their personal life and studies You can anyone time call a teacher and they will answer for any problem you are facing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
