Course Curriculum Overview
Being good in analytical aspects made me inclined to chose mathematics. Specially ramjas college because I was told by my seniors. Curriculum of the college involved SEC and AECC courses other than the core subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Internship facility are available in summer VC internship application started by du. Which offered good stipend to the students. If one is having good terms with professor then individual can get internship under the same professor.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are available for the many of the courses. But usually the courses like mathematics is not considered for the placement or even the students are also not interested for the same. Placement cell are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. Yearly fees for my course, Bsc. Hons. Mathematics is Rs. 13050 per year which is the same for each years. 2. Two types of scholarships, one is NSP which gives you Rs. 10000 per year and the other is INSPIRE which gives you Rs. 60000 normal plus Rs. 20000 for academic projects, a total of Rs. 80000. Here, one point is to be noted that INSPIRE scholarship is subject to the passing of the limit criteria for every education boards' cuttoff, for example cuttoff for cbse, up board, Haryana board, etc separately cuttoffs 3.
Campus Life
DU is very well known for the fests organised by its colleges. i.e. meca by hindu college. So every festival is celebrated enthusiastically. Sports infrastructure is also undergoing development here. As new games are being introduced by college admin
Admission
Ramjas college is one of the oldest college of Delhi University situated in North campus having best faculty for pursuing B.sC mathematics Hons. I got selected in ramjas in fifth cutoff. It was my very first preference
Faculty
Faculty of ramjas college were very supportive. Specially the mathematics department was one of the best department of the Delhi University. Teachers were approachable any time. Dr. Ruchika verma was one of my favourite faculty.
