Curriculum also depends on your department, but overall it is not good here, a lot of work has to be done. Curriculum if nice for real-world experience but it depends on your Professor that how far they can take you. Adding Pre-requisites can enhance curriculum. Frequency of exam and their difficulty is fine

some companies that provide intern are -> Google (1 lac), Microsoft (1 lac), Jindal Steel (40k), Goldman Sachs (1 lac), etc. For programming field you require one/ two project, good competitve coding skills, in-depth knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithms

from 7th sem students are eligible for placements some major companies are Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Bajaj, Tata Motors, etc. No. of offers in 2023 was around 650. Highest package is 50 lpa and avg is 12 lpa as per previous year. Nearly 80% students are placed. I am thinking of getting a placement after college.

Fests -> Srijan (March), Concetto (October), Khanan (April), Parakram (February) Our library is 2nd largest technical library of Asia, and books can issued easily. Classrooms are seeded with smart boards and projectors, but no AC is there. Sports is on a good level here, a lot of oppurtunity is there. College is good in terms of clubs and societies, some of club names include -> Book Club, ABhay Dramatics Club, Cyberlabs, RoboISM, etc.

Room mainly have a fan, a window, a door, an almirah and nothing special, just good enough to live. Meal quality can be improved. Registration process is very easy and since it is a government college, so no fee for hostel is there.

I have applied in many IITs which are above this college in terms of placements and some private college like VIT, Amity, J and k Institute, etc. I get confirm admission from VIT Vellore, Amity Education and J n K Institute. But, I choose this obviously because it is a IIT and here placement is very good. I got rejected from other IITs like Bombay, Madras, Delhi, etc. Because of less score in JEE Advanced Admission here is through JEE Advanced. Eligibity is one have to qualify in JEE Main and in JEE Advanced and he/she should have 75% in 12th. You can get a seat upto CRL 14000 and for further info Check JOSAA or-cr.

Faculty-to-student ratio in my dept is somewhat 12 which is a good number, and overall in college it is somewhat 10 which is also nice. Approchability of Faculties depends, like some faculties are really good and for some approaching him is not easy, but overall they all help you during any difficulty. Some Profs that I like is 1) Prof K.P. Ajit sir -> good way of teaching always tries to understand and solve our problems 2) Prof Jayanta Das sir -> Easily approachable and very lenient I think all Profs are good at their place, so there is not any name that i didn't like. There will be 2 exams per sem -> midsem and Endsem, some Profs also takes Quizzes, there difficulty depends on course and Prof but on a general basis it is 8/10, approximately 95% student easily pass the exam.
