Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I always wanted to study CSE so I went for this course. It was a dream of mine so I pursued it. The curriculum is divert and encourages us for higher studies as well as placements. I would suggest that the overall growth of a student is necessary and the faculty should take care of it, other than that, it is good enough. The time between two-semester exam is around 5 months.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

The intership process a hazy, there are a lack of miscommunication, I have seen some frauds in unofficial groups, some students do intership, but is low in number, most of them is paid, there should be a much clearer way for enrolling in these internships

Placement Experience

2

The students get eligible for placement after 7th sem, the companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini visits and some students get placed. The avarage package as per college is around 4-5 lpa, so take this with a pinch of salt. The percentage of students is getting a placement if close to 3-4%.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees is around 14500 per year. There is no hidden fees required for exams, lab fees etc, the supplementary examination fees as well as the answer sheet review fees is 500 per subject . The discount in fees is applicable when the marks of class 12 is above 80%. We can get SVMCM or the discount mentioned above, any one, not both at the same time. My other batchmate fees after the deduction is around 480000 for theke whole 4 years course, if not then 620000 for the whole course.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is not too good, because the campus is kind of small as we have to shere the campus with TINT. There is a basketball court, some students play there, the library is actually a good one, classrooms has projectors, only labs have AC. There are some sports events for the students, it is an avarage private engineering college.

Admission

I got a pretty bad score in webjee, so I got no other option, so I went for this college. The admission process in our time was somewhat first come first serve type, I got a call from them, we talked and then I made a dicission that I want to study in this college, the admission process was quick, and easy

Faculty

3

The college has enough faculty for the students, but sometimes if the pressure is huge, they somewhat crumbles. There are no fixed classrooms for the batch so we have to move around the whole building. I personally liked Ayan Mukherjee sir, very calm and supportive, I do not want to take the name of the faculty I did not like for personal reasons, they are very rude and unnecessary non supportive. There are occasional class tests, 1 mid sem and one end sem for one semester, the course curriculum is relevant.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
