My tutor is very nice nice environment greenary place
Students are nice all are friendly with good mentality
Have a shed for parking personal vehicles

Dislikes

Our HOD is school level always giving homework
Inside campus there are stray dogs wandering its making the students uncomfortable
No programs we didnt had a freshers day and onam celebration too

I selected BA english. I wanted a degree so i could try psc exams bs english is a great choice if you are trying to improve your english Exams are conducted every 6 months, but English doesn't give much opportunities for our career

I got merit seat but my friends got admission through management seat which is 60000 per seat its quite expensive and uniform fees is something like 2 or 3000 and its ready made which is not acceptable. Sem fees is 10000 per sem. My some other friends got management seats for 30000 rupees which is great

Campus Life

Programs are mere. We didnt have freshers day. Management didnt gave us the chance to socialise with other students. There are no free periods. In basis of technologies there is a camera in our classroom nothing much. There are only few students so social life is also boring

Admission

I got admission to this college, and i felt that it's a good college, so i took admission in this college, but its the worst decision i have ever made. The number of students in this college is under 130. Mobile phones are not allowed in this college. Doesn't give value to sports and stuff. To get admission in this college, you have to pass plus two

Students in our college is rellay low only 120 something students are studying in our college our HOD is out dated school level teaching like giving homework and stuff our tutor is very nice principal and vice principal is very strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

Remarks:

The college is good at all. But need to be have changes for good study's as much we are given the fee. Mostly it will help the students for having a good study and knowledge from the college need much more to improve.

I choosed this college because it was near to my home so maybe one can say that i took it because of convinence but after studying there i understood that it was my best option like it's so good studying there. I applied to sirsyed college S. N college SES college but due to my less mark i didn't got admission there. I really didn't got rejected because i didn't wait till last i first got merit seat in itm college and i just went for that like admission process are all same if u didn't get a merit then u may have to pay a donation of 50000 or if you got merit then you have to pay only 5000 which i paid my admission expirence was smooth thanks to the faculty...Read More
