Likes

the campus was good including canteens and as many as 6 lifts
the faculty was excellent with CA as your tax subject teachers
Great placements oppurtunities including the big 4 companies

Dislikes

class timings for 1st year was 11.45am but from second year it was 7.50am
the campus is in the city which caused a lot of traffic during college hours
management lacks sometimes and you have to go from one floor to another

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum was highly relatable and how it should be. it was veryu practical and helped understood the real world. the portion was comprehensive and doable within the semester and wasnt a overload

Placement Experience

the placements are excellent including the big 4 : EY DELOITTE PwC KPMG and other companies such as DE SHAW giving good oppurtunities. if campus plavement isnt provided there is ample oppurtunities which take you in because of the way JAIN UNIVERSITY shapes us

Fees and Financial Aid

the complete course fees for b.com was 150000 which was justified for the campus faculty and the classrooms. Jain University provides sportts quota around 20-25% scholarship. merit based scholarship is the same

Campus Life

there are many clubs and forums inside the college giving us opportunitites such as commerce forum fashion forum sports forum events such as antral anvesha deekshaarambh etc. there is a humungous library with over 1000 books and good management

Admission

the admission process was really simple and convinient. our college wasnt any less than the likes of christ or NMIMS. it gave the same oppurtunity as them. i applied only for this college and got in so took admission over here

Faculty

faculty had around 100 teachers which was sufficient according to the ratio of students. there were 2 semesters evry year and 2 unit tests in a semester amd 3 assisgnmets which helped in scoring marks . the level of paper was easy. our HOD Ms. Neelima mam is an excellent teacher and was great in dealing any situations and difficulties that arose

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements from various top notch companies like Deloitte, EY, Tanishq, Titan , Wipro and more. The Average package is 5 lakhs and most students get placed. Whoever doesn't, they choose to study further .

Perfect for Online Programs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rat 8/10 as the course was pretty good, I learnt eaverything in my B.com, whether its abut marketing, finance, sales , accounts. So basically it included everything a student needs in their graduation. I suggest that there should have been regular classes with encourages student teacher interaction.

MY COLLEGE MY BEST DAYS

Remarks:

In our period it was prestigious to study commerce stream in our college and had good rating for the course and the for students who passed out from that college. The management had good lot of concern about the poorer section of the society and hence kept the fee structure at a very nominal level and thus help to get education for all

Well it was the best days in life I had with friends

Remarks:

They need to improve little infrastructure .they are improving but still need to do. They also have to put some efforts to help students excel in their overall development and rest everything is fine here in canara, i loved studying in this college. Faculties are also good,friendly in nature.
