Name of the Entrance Orissa-JEE. All India Rank-1205. This College Provides Placement Guarantee ,if academics is proper for a student which no other colleges in odisha provides currently. Also the Study and environment are quite competitive which I mostly Like about this College.

Course Curriculum Overview

Starting from 1st Semester to Final Semester,Every performance of every individual is accessed on a weekly bass which I liked about this college.The Course curriculum is set by BPUT,Orissa which is very standardised and most of faculty of this college are PhD holders and very cooperative.

Internships Opportunities

Companies Came-Tata Consultancy Services,Stipend paid was- 27829. Learned a Lot During My Internship and came to learn about the technologies used in Real World

Placement Experience

Around 800 students are placed in campus where the total strength of the batch was 1100 from all streams.Many Big Companies like TCS,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS came for placement on campus

AVYAKT-2014 was organised by me an was a Grand Success. Also ADVAITA -2013 was Organised .Also International Festivals and Science Exhibitions are organised on the Yearly basis to boost up morality and motivation for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming to Fees Structure ,Its average as My Per Semester Fees was 10,5000 which includes Hostel and Mess .So yes,it is Feasible and so Your Engineering would be completed in approx 4-5 lacs which is feasible for 4 years

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,Education Loans was available from leading financials and banks.I have taken loan from SBI for Completing my Studies.So no Much Paperwork is required for getting loans.

The Gender Ratios are quite good in this college.there is 60%:40% of Boys:Girls in this College.Hostel Parties are Strictly prohibited.Workshops are Organised on a regular Basis of the Departments.Students hail from all religion and all States in this college.College Environment s very eco -friendly.

Hostel Facilities

The Hotel Facilitates was awesome with proper electricity but the mess food was not appropriate.If You are from North ,it will take some time to adjust in the environment.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes,Regular seminars by visiting seniors occurs in this college,which is Quite Good.The Seniors are All placed in reputed MNC's.and the networking is quite good and seniors are quite helpful.

Exam Structure

In Each Semester, there are 4-5 labs are there to provide hands on Experience.Yes,It Is Quite Hectic as Attendance is compulsory to attain good marks,but you will learn a lot in practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
