Course Curriculum Overview
The economics in government college is very awesome.The economics department have pH.d holder professors and they are fabulous in knowledge and very helpful.Even the courses are very evenly taught the only issue if addition of Mathematics in the stream which causes issue for the Arts students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year was fees was very less as the college is government college.The fees was 3000 a year including all exam fees and other curriculums. The Addmission fee was 1000 rupees. Registration one time -700 Rupees Subject wise registration in each sem each subject is 75 to 150 as per university norms and exam fees of 50 per paper or subject for each semester. With government scholarship provided under West Bengal Government SVMCM and Kanyashree for women. Now hostel facility also available with very less fees of only 50 rupees per month.
Campus Life
There are few annual programs like Sports,freshers welcome and social for final year students.Through out the year being a DBT star graded college have lots of programs and lectures based on various aspects and departments. The library contains more than 2k books of modern and old syllabus and worldclass reading environment full air conditioned. The college sponsored tours of various sports organs and even in international and state programs. The students union and the Various committees led by students are another plus point.
Admission
Firstly the college was nearby my home and the college itself have an bus stand in front of gate for students. The transport facility is good and also subsidy for students.
Faculty
The course system of marking is as similar to government norms.The marks of internal are always have 60-70% and the attendance is must for every exam.The marks in main paper are also good and the facilities fare good.
