Due to the affiliation of Dronacharya College of Engineering with Maharishi Dayanand University, course curriculum and exam structure are followed as per the main university. There are 2 semesters each year. Each semester contains 4 exams: 2 minor, 1 pre-final and 1 final examination. The curriculum emphasizes both theories as well as practical.

Dronacharya College of Engineering has excellent placement opportunities. Above 95% of eligible students were placed even before the 8th semester.
