Likes
- The curriculum is good enough. Teachers are also cooperative and helpful.
- Support provided for career development is also decent. The infrastructure is also nice.
- There are many club in the college. Personal development is like impossible for a student in this college.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure lacks a bit in terms of air conditioned classes. The ac's are not working properly int the classroom.
- The management system lacks a lot due to which the students suffer a lot. The college should work on the management system.
- There is no facilities for sports except badminton. There is no ground at all for students so that the can do exercise and remain physically fit.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curiculum is not that hard. it is of moderate level. if a student will focus on what the teacher is teaching he or she will definitely score enough good marks. the frequency of end sems are almost 3-4 months and those of mid sems are also 3-4 months.
Placement Experience
from 6th semester students are eligible to sit in the placements. the companies which visited in the campus are - amazon, tcs, deloitte, accenture, microsoft, i dont have enough idea about placements as currently i am in 3rd semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
the totoal fees paid by me for one year is Rs.275000 Fees may vary depending on the branch you select. Tuition fees for computer science branch is Rs.137500 per semester. The caution fees is Rs.5000 which is refundable. One of my batchmate paid fees of Rs.260000 per semester for ece branch. Scholarships are available for students on merit means. The amount of scholarship is Rs.30000 per annum.
Campus Life
no fests and events are conducted in the college throughout the year library is well equipped with books and the infrastructre of the library is also good sports ground are a thing which the college lacks in. no ground is present in the college.
Hostel Facilities
rooms of some hostel are very good and some are very bad. 3 sharing non ac student pays the same amount as 4 sharing non ac student. no water coolers are allowed. students have to stay in the summers without coolers. food is of very bad quality. if you want to eat good food the you must stay outside of the campus.
Admission
I heard of this college from my friends. In the eastern region, there are many colleges but I chose this because the curriculum here is good which matches my requirements. and also the the placements here are good enough.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is not so good at all. Some faculty are very helpful and some are very miserable. The best faculty i like the most is the our calulus teacher. Oevrall in a academic year there are four exams held - two mid sems and two end sems.
