Course Curriculum Overview
The University hava a very well planned curriculum for the students. Although the students find it difficult it will help them in their career. They'll help you get internship and improve your practical knowledge in the field and keep you updated
Internships Opportunities
Many of my classmates have interned in bio technology related companies with University recommendations some of them got stipend based on their level of knowledge even got placed before finishing their course
Placement Experience
The placement in the SRM University is proper, many companies from different fields are coming for interview's. The placement is monitored by placement Cell, but the only draw back is you have to pay placement training fee to get trained and appear for placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is 350000? for me, But for my classmates who wrote SRMJEE exam the course fee in 250000?, also the fees changes depending on your department. The fee is collected in the name of TUTION FEE and during admission 10000? is collected as registation fee. I didn't opt for hostel
Campus Life
I personally don't like to engage myself in clubs and other college fest but there are many opportunities if you are interested in joining club of your interest. You will get opportunites to seek guidance from your field alumni and experts via clubs.
Admission
I have tried for IIT, NIT, VIT as well but my marks in both JEE and VITEEE is not enough to get into them, I have kept SRMIST as my backup always as my brother studied here. I think there's no major difference here
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is arround 40. All the faculty seems to be rude in first of the course, moving to second year the staff are nice. Most students struggle to clear exam in first year comparing to 2nd and 3rd year
Other Applied Colleges
Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Biotechnology)
