The best part for me in my college life is obviously the ever helping faculty members and yes for which I joined the college-placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decent. Obviously, you will be working on languages if you are a computer science student. I don't know much about other streams but we have decent labs with a good strength of systems for students to practice. The course structure is good to provide a basic understanding of concepts and tools to be used in the industry.
Placement Experience
Well, I would not question on college placements. As I have been placed in 3 reputed companies at decent packages that too in starting of the 7th semester. The best part is my whole friend circle is placed too.
College Events
Like all other colleges, festivals are celebrated in our college too. The treasure hunt thing and academic seminars too. 1. Entrepreneurship development related seminars. 2. Codechef coding competitions. 3. Hacking related workshops. 4. College fest of course. 5. Qeee sessions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well, fee structures change every year so it is worthless to mention them here. Still, I have given approx 1.5 lacks including transportation for a year. When you compare this with other private colleges of the same grade you will definitely find it worthwhile.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or loan thing neither did I know about the procedure for the same.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent. Of course, there is a strictness regarding the use of mobiles within lectures or just roam here n there. Debates, event organizations are there too. I myself was the evebt head of the Entrepreneurship development cell of the college. The gender ratio is equal I guess.
Alumni/Alumna
There is very little interaction with seniors in 1st year. But yes, after that you will get to interact with them as you will be closely working with them in competitions and events.
Admission
Taking Admission in Dronacharya college of engineering is through two types at my time: either your 12th grades (matter strictly for computer science stream) after filling the application online or with hstes allotment through jee main exam (Haryana state counselling)
Faculty
Faculty members are the best part of this college. No matter in whichever branch you are, you can always go to any faculty of any branch to help you out with the things. They are very supportive in terms of providing you extra time. Students are always welcome to gather knowledge.
