BIT mesra: a mix of good and bad

I choose this frankly because i was not getting computer science. Teacher student Ratio is 10:1, teachers are qualified but they teach poorly,exams are taken on time amd exams are on tough to medium. there are 2 quizes 1 mid semester exam and 1 end semester exams that are conducted and total marks are 100 mearks.

mainly consulting companies and core companies like come to give internship oppurtunities to us, only 50-60% gets internship most go for off campus internship in goverment companioes internships. consultinbcompanies are mainly like deloite, p&w , baine and company, mckinsey and company etc. there are many. consultings

They become eligible from 3rd year. Only people of circuital branch are allowed for tech placement. 90 companies visited the college google, adobe, microsoft and other psu among them. Highest-56, avg-12 , median-10, 90% gets placed. I am preparing for jee again because the scene is quite bad for mech.

Fees are hiked every semester citing inflation, the vast to study is on the higher side 18 lakhs which is futher going to increase to 22 lakhs coming year. Scholarship are provided in terms of gpa after first year

There are 2 festa and one sports meet the pantheon tech fest and the bitotsav cultural fest they are conducted in march and october respectively, many books are avilable there is no shortage of books. Classrooms are mediumly furnished. There is a sports complex and a cricket oval. There are many groups but they run with a constant interference with the college management

Room is small for a 2 seater. Facilities are fan,bed,electrical switch board. The mess quality is okay at best. The registration process is hassle free it costs 25000 per semester. Day scolars are not allowed

The admission is through josssa counselling,anybody who writes jee can go throught the counselling,you get all the forms and procedure at the day of reporting.during the admission process i noticed the management was quite lethargic,they were taking their time to process things

Faculty to student ratio is 10:1 as there are many professors and phd students assisting us. faculty is approachable and quite good in this very aspect. the faculties are quite good and they are approachable, they are dp Mishra, ls Brar, Rehman sir etc. Every faculty is good and I would not like to name them. exams are between moderate and difficult, around 5-10 students are unable to clear their exams and are given f grade and are told to reattend the exam. course curriculum is quite regressed the professor know this but are unable to change it due to college administration
