Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are rather experienced than good at teaching. Some courses are not available in the college . The exam difficulty level i still don't know yet as i am 1st sem student . Seasonal exam is about to start on September

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for Bsc Computer Science per semester is Rs 12000 so yearly Rs 24000 . Bsc Cs is semi private. Fees for B.Com - Rs 8300 per semester and 16600 per year. Exam fees are around 200 per subject it depends on the course.

Campus Life

Functions are occurred pretty well and all students can participate. Freshers are welcome with a program and festivals are celebrated. Group activities are done and sports programs too and quizzes are held etc and prizes too.

Admission

I applied for multiple college but i chosed pragjyotish college because i had friends here and it was quite affordable for me and my family . I didn't get some college and university but i got some offers from another university.

Faculty

The faculty team is Good but sometimes the counter guys have a different attitude. Own Department teachers are helpful to there students. The exams are seasonal 35-40 marks and anual exama are conducted.

As per current trending situation I choose statistics as my department. Our department give us a Microsoft excel course as sec course. In teaching I need the notes should be provided in form of pdf to every student. The timing of exam is good I want to say it's excellent.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

I was preparing for competitive exams like JEE and CUET , but they didn't work out and most of the colleges like Cotton , B Borah and all dosent provide BSc in computer science. I didn't got a rejectection , but the seat was completely filled by the time i got there. The process for getting admission is : After class 12 results, you have to apply in a website called Samarth , to apply in all over Assam colleges. You can apply in how many you like . In some colleges you can take addmission through JEE scores , or by CEE And by CUET also . The cutoffs aren't much high for this college, 60-70% will get you addmission in Pragjyotish college.
