LOGMIEER, Nashik. College Review

The curriculum college follows is of SPPU (Savitribai Phule Pune University). I think its a well organized cirriculum and in every 2nd semester their is Project Based learning (PBL) where you have to create projects in groups and present your project to teachers. Their are 2 exams in one semester ( In-Sem = 30 Marks and End-Sem = 70 Marks ) the passing criteria is scoring 40 marks in total both insem and endsem(but you have to score 28 marks in your end-sem). The FE cirriculum is going to change in 2024-25 acedamic year.

The Companies visited in college are TCS , Crompton , Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc. If you want to be placed you have to very skilled and you should have Projects to impress companies. If you are sincere , well behave around faculty you are going to get placed.

The on-campus placement in this college is comparativly very low then other colleges. But, companies do visit my college mainly in Computer & Electrical Department. The highest placement Students have got is 10lac per annum. The average placement is around 3-4 lac per annum. The percentage of students who got placed is 40 % in my department (AI&ML).

The year-wise fees (for general students) is Rs.56000/- The college provide various scholarship for the students to apply. If you apply for MahaDbt Scholarship to can get fess compensation. Example- OBC Students get 50% compensation on college Tutition fees (Total - Rs. 26000 approx) If you are from SC/ST and VJNT caste student the fees is nearly negligable.( Rs. 2000-3000 for SC/ST and Rs. 8000 for VJNT students)

Every year in the month of Jan-Feb the college organizes its annual fest called "VASANT BAHAR" it is a three-day fest each day is celebrated grandly. Their are dress codes of these days such as Traditional day, Tie day, Bollywood day, Group day, etc. Prior to the fest their is 3 days sports competition in college which include ( cricket, volleyball, badminton , chess etc).

Each classroom is equipped from Projector , BlackBoard , fans, etc. Each classroom holds the capacity of 60 Students. The Hostel doesn't provide its own mess (The canteen work is in process), but hostel assign external mess services to the student they provide you tiffin on daily basis. Each Tiffin costs you 50rs (Rs. 3000 per month). If you don't want to stay in hostel their are various PG's available around College area( if you share room it will cost you 2000 rs per person).

I Choose this college because it has AI&ML(Artifical intellegience & Machine learning) degree, i had interest on this branch so i have choosen this college and also i have very low percentile in my enterance test(mht-cet).

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:15. Some of the faculty are well-experienced Phd holders and some are less-experienced. The sports department faculty are very helpful. Overall you can have fun around faculty in some cases. Coming to the exams which is relatively tough to score but easy to pass.
