As in mountains the campus is designed hectic to walk as it is on a incline.

The courses and the curriculum are relevant and provides a good knowledge with skill to the student. Practical sessions make us confident for the real world application. The teaching scheme is also great in terms of engagement and knowledge.

Our university has a good record in placemets . The system makes us to reach the level where we could easily grab the opportunity between many companies that come to shoolini and hire students for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

As for general seats it goes by the semester, the fees is 1,10,000 for the course of Btech Biotechnology. Merit based scholarship privileges are given on admission. Admission fees were to be 10000 , registration of each semester is free till deadline then 500 per day fine. Yes the fees has increased 10000 in last 2 years.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
