Basic knowledge for college

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course that is BA Geography honours is the amount of determination and dedication the subject is based on and also the Field trip and field based study ( survey)

The fee structure of Salesian College Siliguri is a course is of 3 years and as we are cbcs but it's different in nep batch as I am from cbse we pay every year in 1st ,2nd 3rd installment every as 3 months together and every installment has specified date after if we fail toh pay the fee on or before the given date we have toh pay fine as per day 100 rupees and it is compulsory to pay the fine The tution fees varies for different departments and denearrys depends upon practical based ( lab) and theory based . Practical based or lab based fee structure have to pay more amount than of theory based There are few scholarship available like Aikyashree as per my knowledge

The annual event are Sports day , Exibition, Exsurge, Inovision and further including the departmental event and denearry event. The range and accessibility of books and journals are almost every book is available of departmental based The technology provided in classroom are projecter and smart tv There are various extracurricular activities like inter department football tournament, Maraki etc There are Ncc and Nss and women cells

Hostel of Salesian College is till now only for girls .The total rooms are 24 and with dinner room , study room and prayer room.In 1 room 4 students are placed. The quality of food is average Registration process of hostel is we have to pay admission fee and fill the form

I applied for St Xavier's College Kolkata and Rajganjh .But I choosed this college because it's near to my home town compared to others and I had heard very positive response of this college as it is under Don Bosco Institution No ,I was not rejected from other colleges applied.It was my and my family's decision to come to its college as I kept it as my first preference The admission procedure for salesian college is first we have to apply for it by filling the form and appear for written test and oral interview

We have balanced number of ratio of faculty to student .The relationship between students and faculty is very good as the students can keep there thoughs and ideas openly and the faculties are very supportive. During any events the faculty and students work equally and together with equal opportunitys

My topic was based on my subject geography the basic things like why do you want to take geography etc etc The process was we have to write a written examination and also the oral interview by the the faculty and after with the principal or vise principal I had the basic knowledge about the rounds as my senior helped me little
