- Clean and green campus: The campus is kept clean and hygienic and there are a lot of trees around the campus
- Availability of courses: MIT-WPU offers numerous and multiple courses which attract students from vast educational backgrounds
- Up-to-date curriculum: The curriculum is up-to-date which makes students job-ready for the present and the future
Dislikes
- Attendance: The minimum attendance required is mandated at 80% which can be very hard for students coming from far distances
- Strict rules: Faculty can be very strict when it comes to university guidelines like attendance, uniforms, assignment deadlines, etc.
- A lot of walking: Students have to walk long distances on campus as it is very big
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up-to-date and is designed to make students job-ready and develop entrepreneurial skills. The university also provides internships from second year onwards. Most students can get desired placements because of their internship experiences
Internships Opportunities
MIT-WPU offers internships to students from second year onwards. Internships can be paid or unpaid. Paid internships can range from ?4000-?8000. Very popular companies hire students for internships such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon and Flipkart.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from their final semester and a high percentage of students get placed at good companies. Even companies like Google have hired from MIT-WPU. I plan to opt for placements as it would help me get some necessary experience for my post-graduation.

Campus Life
There are hundreds of student clubs at MIT-WPU which cater to all the interests of a student. Some popular club activities are dancing, singing, coding, marketing, etc. One can join multiple clubs and also earn credits. There are smart boards in each classroom which facilitate digital learning. There are 2 big libraries on the campus which have all the books you'll need in college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms provide good facilities. They offer WiFi, breakout rooms, indoor sports facilities and good rooms. The meal quality is decent but not great. You can register for the hostel once you have received an offer letter from the university.
Admission
I could make it to all the colleges I applied to but I shortlisted Alliance University, Bangalore and MIT-WPU Pune. Both colleges have the same admission process. You need to clear their entrance tests and then pass the personal interaction. Both of them are done online. I chose MIT-WPU because it has prestige and is much closer to my city than Bangalore
Faculty
The faculty is overall great. Little to zero people complain about the faculty members. Students can easily approach their professors and class coordinators anytime he/she wants to. Exams are usually of moderate difficulty and many students can clear them
Interview Experience
There wasn't any group discussion but they conducted an entrance test and an online personal interaction session. Both of them were based on the class 12th syllabus and were of moderate difficulty. You need to clear both of them to receive an offer letter.
