- I loved the campus and the enviorenment of the college. It doesnt feel stressful and its balanced overall.
- There are a lot of events and fests happening all the time. The college focuses on overall development of an invdividual.
- The professors are helpful and cooperative. Also the girls are really pretty in the campus especially around the design building.
Dislikes
- The campus is too big that walking from one place to another feels like a task.
- They are too strict for 80% attendance and doesnt let you in even after 10 minutes of the class starting.
- The hostel is too far away from the college and there is a lot of travelling time involved and the campus is crowded most of the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
MIT WPU provides an overall development of an individual in all aspects. I wanted to get into corporate and this university makes you ready for the corporate world. Its also fun. The curriculum is mostly practical based and its modified every year as per the recent trends.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid a total of 2 lakh 85 thousand for the BBA course. The course for Btech petroleum engineering is 2 lakh 50 thousand. There is a scholarship available for students who scored more than 85% in their CBT score in an exam conducted by MIT WPU known as MIT CET. You can also apply for scholarship if youve represented the country in any national level tournament.
Campus Life
Two events were held in the month of august which were SLDP and RIDE. There is a fest named Aarohan which is the biggest fest in Mit wpu. We have 2 libraries and theyre pretty big. Students can issue any book of their choice.There arent a lot of facilities in the classroom theres just a smartboard in every class. There arent a lot of sports but theyre renovating the grounds.There are a lot of clubs ran by students and you can opt for any according to your interest.
Hostel Facilities
WIFI is there in the room and the storage space is pretty good. There is a gym in the hostel but its pretty crowded most of the time.The food quality is okay not that good.I would rate the hostel 0 in affordability cuz its located in an isolated area and then rent is costly compared to others.
Admission
I applied to NMIMS but I didnt get selected and this was my second option only. I chose this college for the overall development it has to offer. I couldnt go to NMIMS because I applied for the mumbai campus and couldnt clear the Npat exam.You have to qualify the MIT CBT test and there is a personal interaction conducted afterwards for the confirmation of admission.
Faculty
Faculties are pretty cooperative I would say they are always upto help and support your interest in co curriculars. I liked Professor Vinay as he is really approachable and friendly. I didnt like Proffesor Pranjali as she is kind of weird. There are 4 exams per year 2 in each semester.Not many of the students fail in my course atleast.
Interview Experience
Test pattern was pretty basic. Aptitude, General knowledge, Quants was there. I didnt have to prepare much for that as I was already prepared for Npat which is an exam on the same pattern. The PI was conducted by a professor and nothing much you just need to speak proper english.
