- In college , mostly i like the environment and the interaction between teacher and student is also good.
- Pond side and a good green campus with open gym is the fabulous one.
- It's a ragging free campus, with a healthy relation between juniors and seniors
Dislikes
- There is lots of mandatory or i say so called seminar
- College provided less fest and interesting events rather provides educational and tech fest.
- Randomly increment in fees is the most disliked one.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've choosen Information Technology due to my interest in technological field and also due to hike in the market. Mostly we've to focus on the comparative programming as well as in development side according to interest. Exams here are not the matter of worry, one can score 8+ cgpa by reading a month
Placement Experience
Normally we all know about recession , so placement rates fluctuates, but college claims 87% placement rate with 500000 average package. So if u r in cse, it, ece, cse specialization so you don't have to worry about the placement. But for safe side u have to be proficient in comparative programming as well as development side with lots of Effective projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
Normally west bengal government provide SVMCM throughout the whole course of 4 years. Government provides 60k each year. Another scholarship are hdfc scholarship, reliance digital scholarship etc. Collage is very active towards that.
Campus Life
Overall college life is just ok ok. As we're in private college so we can't expect more. According to range it's 9 out of 10. Here happens novodaya cultural fest in the month of may, kritanj tech fest in the month of April and swagatam for the induction program for the freshers.
Admission
I've choosen Narula institute of technology due to my rank in wbjee. It's good college for Information technology in 30k range. Before that I've choosen iem, heritage institute of technology, Techno main salt lake . Admission process is just a piece of cake. One needs rank card , allotment letter and few academic certificates with a bag full of money
Faculty
Normally almost all the faculty members are phD holder. Teacher student ratio is 1:60 Most liked faculty of mine is Soumya Bhattacharya sir. He's super friendly and helpful. Honestly i don't like Neepa Biswas ma'am. She exaggerat everything. Normally there were 8 sem throughout the whole course in the interval of 6 month which automatically turns into 4 to 5 month. Before every sem there were one to two slot test or i say internal exam. Getting 7.5+ cgpa in NiT is a bit ordinary. So u can understand the level of exam.
