The frequency and timing of exams along with perspective on their difficulty level is ok .the curriculum and teaching methods is use to help us for real world experience and they help us to learn many things.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any internships till now because I am just in 5 th semester. But they have many companies with them . They provide us best internships in the town . There are many projects that you can work for in the internships.

Placement Experience

From the 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like TCS, Cognizant,Wipro, IBM, Flipkart, Amazon and many other companies visited our college.They offers a average 6 lakh package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 79000 rupees.And the exam fees per semester is 2000 rupees . My batchmates fees also same for this course . They also paid 79000 as semester fees and for exam fees 2000 rupees.I didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life

The name of our annual fest is Sahotsova. There are many events in college. There are overall a fest in a month . There are many club that you join . I join the the acting club named Dhrubotara. There are many fest like freshers welcome, main annual fest, reunions,and many other events

Admission

This college I choose when I know about it by my brother. I choose it because their infrastructure and course they have and the placement they provide. They provide the best placement than other colleges in the town.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is ok . Students are not that much familiar with the faculties. That should be changed.Yes there are many faculties whom are really very friendly and so much good in teaching. I don't want to name the faculties I didn't like but I can tell the reason . One of them just go through with a paper and use to told us to write that but don't summaries the things that we should clarify.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

obviously other governments colleges ike JU , JGEC and CU are better than it but our college placement is better than otehr privet colleges and the environment of our college is best for study. I applied to pcu (pimpri chinchwad university) along side with techno india university.
