Course Curriculum Overview
The timings are very convient from 8 30-1:30, it is very useful for the people preparing for competitive exams after graduation, curriculum is excellent as every 3 day of week we have a hands on pratical for 1 hr 30 min and great outcomes. In terms of improvement everything is so perfect. Internals are scoring as teacher guide and help them regarding what type of questions are asked and how to answer then and when it comes to board paper are corrected by osmania so it depends completely on us and exam are conducted in the month of may- july
Fees and Financial Aid
Free structure - St Mary's College, Hyderabad It's a 3 yrs course fees differs according to the groups for bsc biotechnology it is 79000 per year ( including tuition fees,lab fees, admission fees, development fees). There is no particular scholarship for St or government scholarship But scholarships are provided by the college according to different criteria ( merit based, need based , attendance based,and Christ community with minimum cgpa of 8-9 ) , quality education and support staff and faculty and excellent labs are provided
Campus Life
Events yess many events are conducted on daily bases as there are 16 clubs al together to keep the students engaged in many activities, library is hugee with more than 1000+ books both national and international, good facilities and labs are provided,in college and international college sports competitions are conducted every annual sports fest .
Admission
After my 12 th I applied many colleges and choose this college over others because of its timming so that it is convient for me to prepare for my competitive exams, I was not rejected by any college, eligibility and admission are based on10+12 marks
Faculty
Faculty is very approachable, very supportive in terms of helping and understanding the topics , a very good course outcome, all my faculty teachers are best for biotechnology - deepti mam and Srinath sir very senior teachers with excellent teaching, pratyusha mam and Satabdi mam are for biochemistry and chemistry excellent in teaching and a proper guide for practicals. There are no particular reasons to not like a faculty as they are very friendly.exam wise - every sem has 2 internals of 15 marks each paper and aggregate is taken from both the internals for the final marks to be added in the exam. There are total of 6 sem and 12 internals
