What Students Say
Likes
- The day timings is from 8-1.30. It’s a very good time in my opinion and I can give time to sports too.
- There is a good sport management squad that would get you into big tournaments.
- Good classes and the ambiance is good very chilly.
Dislikes
- Cafeteria could’ve been a little bigger in my opinion.
- There’s no football field for the campus so that’s a downside too.
- Those are the only downsides I can think off .
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very relevant to the course and the output is also very excellent. None of my scenarios have faced any sort of a problem after graduation and it helped them reach high and get into good universities for their masters. The teaching methods is also very understandable and friendly and very very open for the students if they don't understand anything.
Fees and Financial Aid
On an yearly basis you pay the total fee in two installments. First Semester you pay half of the total and likewise for the second semester. The fee for the next year increases by +15000. And for the complete course it would be around 5,20,000.
Campus Life
Some of the annual and festival events in my college would one being FEISTA NOVATA. Held only for the freshers of the college and I've had a very good experience with this at the end a Mr and a Ms fresher is awarded. As per for the library there are a ton of books ranging from different genres and they get added more and more every couple months. The classrooms and well equipped with projectors and the infrastructure is very suitable no complain here. As per for the technology it's very very well. Sports and extracurriculars are also very good, it's a balance between academia and this and there always participation so it makes it more fun. There are a dozen clubs in the college each having a different theme and goal, for example one being a management, marketing, finance, science, arts, public speaking, sports etc
Admission
The admission process of college was easy but I would say get through the interview process was kind of tough noticing as I was very nervous before it. But all went well, the interview was gone through. This college wasn't the only one I had applied to, the oth.er one being ICFAI but I had dropped that for two reasons 1. Too far away, 2. Even if there was a transport system I would've taken it but they weren't any into the city. The cut off is 85% but then it would depend from which curriculums the students are coming from, for CBSE it's 85%. And for the admission there is only an interview process you have to get through after meeting the cutoff criteria
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio would be 1:20. Overall the faculties are very friendly and I've not had any complaints against them. They've always helped me in terms of both academics and any other issues I've been facing professionally. As per for exams there are two internal exams every sem following up with a final exam at the end of every semester with practicals etc. from what I've seen the failing ratio is very less and almost 97% of the students pass. And for the course structure the subjects change every semester and is very relevant to the course.
Night Life
My college is day school. So nothing runs at night. But as for hangout spots my fav would be the basketball court and cafeteria. Campus timings are 1.30 and after this all the sports and extracurricular club events take place all through until 5. The locality is very safe and it's gated. 24/7 looked around by guards.
