A student can give more time to other important things like I am Doing CA along with my Bcom and able to give more time to My CA Course

Student support is very bad they don't even pick up call, if we mail they give number which is either busy or not reachable

Specific aspect is that I am pursuing CA so many subjects are in Common which help me in Making Linent effort to clear the exams Bcom Help to Getting a Degree and after that we can fight many other competitive exams Areas to Improvement is Making Course more practical and Skill based instead of keeping it only Bookish Exams in IGNOU ( in bcom) held on Year Basis and difficulty level Average of the Exam

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In Recent year the fees is increase to 4500 as before it was 3400 if you choose to take book in pdf format if you want hard copy then fees earlier was ?4000 In DU college for same course fees is ?7000 a year ( known from a friend) And I am in Final year so I asked my University about fees of Masters ( MBA) they said from Open it will be ?16000 per semester

Campus Life

There are some environmental program organised by IGNOU As I am not able to join them because of some personal issues and works But I have seen how all these programs are organised and Managed by IGNOU

Admission

I applied for DU sol and IGNOU I got rejected from DU sol because of some documents are incomplete & it will take time to make those documents so my admission form in DU was rejected Admission process is Simple you need to Go on official website and apply for Admission by Submitting necessary documents Overall admission experience is good

Exams take place in their respective Exam Center which are allot by University and Marking scheme is Average There are 8 exams a year ( in Bcom) the level of exam is Good many students get Back in their exams and some of them get Back in their finals exam also Bcom is now not much that relevant for Present Industry as this course or other Bachelors course are like Getting degree But lacks Skill Development

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

I choose IGNOU because it offers affordable and flexible education compared to many regular colleges in signal is a recognise centre University it's degree is valid across India in the low fees structure made it the practical option for me the flexibility to study from home and the manage other responsibility was the main desert I prefer IGNOU over other colleges I had considered near by regular colleges as well but their fever much higher and the required which was not suitable for me from my situation IGNOU provides could study material I structure syllabus and the option to appear in exam at can be and centres which made it a better choice the admission process online I fill out the application without any difficulty the confirmation was received within a few days and the process was smooth and translation without any difficulty overall IGNOU was the best choice for me because of its affordability flexibility and recognised degree making higher education accessible and convenient....Read More

All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More
